Lost VS Damned Game Mode

Tried it for the first time this morning and had a blast. I was the highest rank on my team but we were all pretty close. Of course, it being my very first time playing an adversary (plus I haven't fought with melee weapons since I was about level 6) I was the worst player on either team lol.

 

I still got some kills, scored some points, and my team won. Made $165,000 in one match (didn't do the math to check if I actually got that much though). I plan on spending some serious time playing it this afternoon with a timer on and checking my payouts.

I won my last game, it was 194k but when I got in freeroam I've got 300k. Sometimes you loose some, sometimes you win some

I played one round for the money, which was nice and generous (my team won). The gameplay was kind of boring and dragging on for too long, though. I liked last year's Halloween mode (Slasher) a lot more. Overall I'm very sick of the never ending adversary modes. Next, please.

Just send Rockstar a support ticket. Same thing happened to me so I submitted a ticket and they corrected my balance a day later and even added 100k for the inconvenience.

How did you do yours? I've played loads today (only a few payouts wonked out thankfully) and not sure how I would prove it to them that the game told me I earned so much, when I really got paid less.

"Hi, I recently just won a 6 round Lost Vs Damned Adversary Mode and the payout at the end was displayed as $289,400. At the beginning of the 6th round I randomly checked my bank balance to see how much I earned so far from the previous five rounds and it was around $106k. At the end of the 6th round which me and my teammates won, that number didn't change even though I was to receive a set amount for winning the 6th round as well as a winners bonus for winning the match. Yet another absolute garbage mode.

 

Thunderstorms interfering with the vibrations of close enemies is an utter fail on R*s behalf. As is there broken matchmaking/team allocation - two rounds in a row the same teams were allocated to Angels/Devils respectively - the latter team at an unfair disadvantage alone.

 

Also pretty fun winning 2x rounds only to be kicked due to a lack of players with no reward whatsoever. Once again robbed of several thousand GTA$ by Rockstar. Piss poor effort.

 

It's beyond time that Rockstar listened to their player base and implemented adversary modes actually desired by those who play them (ie Cops n Crooks)

This is all true. Except for those of us that enjoy it.

Meh, can't say I'm too impressed with this new adversary mode (I seem to say or at think that quite a lot). This one just seems like a not as good version as Trading Places, and some of the maps are just terrible. I wish they'd spend their time making new stunt races or normal missions (and by normal I mean ones where you don't need 4 and if 1 quits it's game over).

Even learned the suicide glitch through no fault of my own.

The only map that I hated was Map 2, rooftop with the structures that really block your view.

This mode relies on intelligent team members that can figure out how to win by not chasing the enemy when they only have the machete/ax.

Find some cool teammates that listen and you won't notice the 6 rounds.

And uh, how do you listen? I played a bunch today, my very first day playing any PvP adversary anything, and nobody communicated with me in any way. I felt horrible, I was the worst player in every match. Actually second match I did great with the gun, but was still weak with the melee. Do I need a headset or something with XB1? Shouldn't I be able to hear other players on my speakers if they're talking?

You should be able to hear people talking, but tbh people don't usually talk when I play. I mean you need a headset if you want to talk back to them for sure.

 

This mode doesn't really require very much communication anyways, just stick together and you will do ok. Everyone is weak with melee though, it's just how it is.

I am playing to get the checks by the jobs. I agree that the devil team is horsecrap. You cannot see the angels. They should have their halos in the dark. The devils are lit up red and have a fire trail for the angel team to see. Gotta be honest, as I am trying to get the check, I just killed myself as a devil by leaving the square to avoid being continually killed by angels. I didnot want to have to replay anyone of the 7 again. Devil team leaves after round one of getting owned anyway, and everyone seems to be set on playing 4 rounds for the payouts. Yet, the payouts are bugged.

 

The worst level is 1 so far...on a hill running around in the dark with the other team able to see you, getting cheap melee kils...the rage was real.

I no longer need money after finding a mc crew that helped me duplicate cars. I still find it fun to play. It's new and I have won most rounds when not playing with random players.

Devils are disadvantaged. It is WAY easier to see them, and the thunder at night is a HUGE distraction that the angels don't have.

Damn dude, sorry I have only played as Angels once, and Devils like 20 times now. Always won so I wasn't sure.

 

In auto aim lobbies it makes no difference to me, lock on works no matter how dark it gets, but I do understand your point and maybe they should do something, like give the Angels less ammo or sh*tty guns or something.

We made $260,000.

Only got paid $93,000.

 

Such crap. Because It was a long grueling match because it became a 3v2 (and try finding 2 people on some of these maps) that we couldn't wait to end and then we get ripped off. lol.

My friend started a ticket about it, I'll just wait for the $250K R* bonus.

I do hope they fix it because until then, I had been making serious money having an easy time winning and planned on abusing this game mode until Nov 7th.

Only reason I tried this was supposedly the "big" money to be made. Not.

 

It would be nice if you actually enjoyed making the money. Honestly, was another epic yawn in the world known as GTA Online. It's getting really stale, but R* hasn't realized that yet...and I doubt ever will.

 

And I'd love to know why text chat is disabled during these modes? Even more annoying than losing text chat ability because of an animation or cut scene.

I'm getting better at it. And making bank. Between the MC business and this mode, every time I make a bank deposit it's $250k+.

 

I played one last night that the host had set to FP, and the melee weapons were daytime and the guns were night, and it was awesome. I thought it was gonna suck but it was so much fun in FP. I felt bad though because everyone eventually quit except me and one guy on the other team, he was obviously better at it than me, but we ended up tied at the end, and I got him with a lucky burst to win the tiebreaker and the match, took home $156,000. I haven't lost a match yet and I've been the worst player every time lol. (I just don't quit )
