Lost VS Damned Game Mode

Sorry to tell but this is the most sense-free, stupid mode they brought up after Sumo. As you might realize I am no huge fan of these kind of modes.

 

The area is way too packed with stuff that stops you down, stucks you down and takes your view. The stormy weather is super irritating, since the controller starts vibrating aggressively when near an enemy, the hard thunder followed by lightning just messes it up.

 

Looks like a hard try to revive Slither, which failed so badly, dull and unappetitzing.

The mode isn't that fun, especially after 3 hours of grinding. Managed to get a 165k payout on one game, and a 150k payout, so I'm happy

It's meh... like almost all of their adversary modes.

 

 

R* thinks their game modes are fun because the devs test them playing against each other, in a friendly environment where everyone is laughing and sharing their epic moments. If only they called people to do some kind of beta testing in their new game modes then we could have something a lot more fun.

Once again, Mach is here to defend literally everything R* do. Making an unbalanced mode, admitting it's unbalanced and then saying "thats the point lol" is stupid. This is a stupid mode. All of them are. Making things unbalanced is not fun.

Good cash tho so i shouldn't complain, and not sure if im the only one whos thought of this, but it seems that Devils are ALOT easier to spot in the light of day, then it is for the devils to find the angels ( who pretty much turn a dark grey ) in a dark and stormy night, thats my only issue with the gamemode

This is such utter wank it's ridiculous. Before you brand me as just another c*nt that likes to complain, let me emphasise that the payout structure here is by far the largest crock of wankery currently in the game. After having played this yesterday, I noticed that I did not receive the proper payout. Therefore, I gave it another chance to see if I were missing something and another fair chance as a whole.

 

No, it is beyond broken in more ways than one. Let's take my example into consideration; I started the match with a total of $16,569,617. My team won the match (again), and it said that the payout were $186,600. When I spawn into the free roam lobby, what is the amount sitting in my bank account? A mere $60,000 in cash and a total of $16,569,417 in the bank. What a bloody irritating waste of time and another major f*ck up within a subpar, time consuming, clusterf*ck game mode.

 

Also, I respect the opinions put forth, but I disagree that Adversary always implies overcoming an imbalance and that this particular game mode adheres to the basic definition in regards to heavily favouring one particular side. In general, Adversary (Adversarial) refers to simply an enemy, opponent, or person/group contending against another. Adversary modes such as Drop Zone, Cross the Line, Power Play, and so on have a balance among the individual teams at all times--here it is simply an entire arsenal against a battle axe.

But you can hide in there when on the melee side. As long as you keep moving around so you don't go red, nobody will think you're inside

Also in the airport map, two of the doors are open and you can go down the staircases inside. Eventually if you go too far it'll tell you to go back to the game area but it's great for hiding if people don't know they open

It was alright, The changing weather was pretty awesome. I enjoyed the three rounds of it an may play it again tomorrow. Double $$$ was pretty good as well.

Oh, forgot to mention another thing that makes this mode garbage.

Everyone tries to hop onto same team.

Team with only one player on it wins.

R* needs to set Team Balance to ON ALWAYS. And disable it from going off.

Lol if you're on PC and use a controller you can just go to an auto-aim server and dominate every round in this mode. I'm making a lot of money that way right now.

 

Edit: Nvm I just got into a team that basically fed themselves to the enemy team. There wasn't much I could do since they were so useless. Angels also seem to have an advantage in this mode, it's easier to see during the day.

The unbalance designed into the gameplay is fine, its like slasher. The unbalance between being an angel and being a devil is an overlook on R* part, its not part of the design.

Played this the other day, set to 4 rounds.

 

My team wins 3, enemies win 1, we win the 4th and win the match. Make about 160k, everyone picks freemode on the voting screen, get stuck in clouds, disconnect and reconnect ethernet cord, go back online and all the money I had made is gone.

$258K payout turned out to be only around $80K when I got back to free mode for a little more than an hour (7 rounds, 20 minutes each), another bug, thank you R*

 

And yes, I wrote a ticket, it just sucks I have to do this on pretty much everything I do in this game now!
