Lost VS Damned Game Mode

So just played a few rounds of this.

It's pretty fun but basically identical to Trading Places game mode. Double payouts are decent - 63k for the winning team of two rounds.

The atmospheres are awesome, hazy brightness for angels and green, dark stormyness for devils. Some nice little touches too - sound effects of vultures screeching when you kill someone, devils leave fire-y footprints, angels have a blue haze around them

 

What are your thoughts?

Tried it. Won a few rounds. Was pretty sh*t. I'm disappointed they locked the awesome weather to this gamemode no one will play in a week.

Wasn't very enjoyable. Much like most Adversary modes not named Slasher, Entourage, and Power Play.

Sad that sick weather is locked to this sh*t.

It won't be any different from all the other crappy adversary modes. Maybe you play it a few times if they temporarily offer double cash, and then forget all about it. Or do your best to, even if Martin spams your phone about it every 10 minutes.

Will give this adversary mode a go later on. Still more hyped for Deadline :D

This is basically a deathmatch with special effects.

Very, very upset that Rockstar didn't add the weather from the adversary mode into free roam.

In Lost V Damned II one of the trailers isn't locked (as it isn't in freeroam)

I guess there's some used to be found from this.

This cool weather effect is restricted to this gimmicky gamemode.

Just played it. Absolutely sh*t adversary mode. And the fact that hiding teams only have a machete and can't even break a lock with rolling. Big f*ck up, Rockstar.

what a sh*tty mode

 

kill for 60 seconds

hide for 60 seconds

 

this Halloween even would have been great if they just made a survival style zombie job instead and added the weather to freeroam

 

rockstar once again displaying their complete lack of ability to make a fair and fun pvp mode

 

you would think they'd force no auto aim or if not give the devils super jump and sprint or high health in day and vice versa because auto aim ruins this mode.

 

for some reason, the people with guns get a vibration warning that someone with a knife is around.

 

the devils have a disadvantage when it comes to this because of the thunder vibrations at night

 

what a pile of sh*t

 

rockstar took it to the next level

 

we went from tanks vs cars to rifles vs knifes

f*ck this game, consistently sh*tty modes through out the year.

 

how the f*ck do they get away with releasing such sh*t, honestly.

I liked it. I dislike adv modes usually, especially ones that drag on. This is fast paced and at least for the moment pays verrry well. 2vs2 and got 63k for the win.

 

 

My advice for when u only have melee weapon, hunt in packs. If one of u falls the other should get the kill and negate their point gained.

Just finished my daily Os and quickly jumped into this adversary mode. Nice chunk of change. Didn't mind playing it either...but I guess I should've been filled with rage? Is that the consensus?

Pretty much. You probably just don't get easily upset by video games. Lol.

The pay is good, but just like Slipstream it isn't fun. Maybe in Free Aim it's fun, but AA is hell.

Had some good laughs, following the other team around as melee users though. Ready to come out and strike as soon as their attention was focused elsewhere.

I'm just sick of getting put in lobbies full of tryhard c*nts and not only that, but always getting put on the same team as level 8s when I'm 8 ranks away from 300 and the enemy team is full of 200-500s.

I was hoping this would be better than it is. I know I probably should've expected what we got, knowing Rockstar, but still.

A glorified deathmatch where we're reduced from top-tier equipment (Heavy Sniper, Carbine, Assault Shotgun etc.) to a measly axe once the daylight vanishes (in case of the Angel team). It sucks.

The secret is getting on a winning team and working out a strategy. I haven't played this yet, but I was making upward 100k for winning Entourage modes a few weeks ago and it's such a welcome break from grinding crates or collecting supplies. And the 2x payout on Drop Zone was almost as good.

 

TIPS:
Use your second character to get ranked in better teams. If you use your main character you'll get matched with all the noobs as the 'main man'.
Do NOT play in assisted aim lobbies. Like all game modes with melee weapons, you've got a fighting chance in free-aim lobbies. Charge....

You sure? I thought that trailer was always unlocked. It used to be one of the molotov spawn points in freeroam.
