Rockstar should just close transferring from os3/360

Last time when we had this same thread (earlier this year), people were like nooooo and now everyone are like yeeeeees.

 

Easy for me to say, since I transferred on day one, but let's just close the doors please. We should be thankful that there has ever even been a transfer option in the first place.

I think you should mind your own business. I didn't get to transfer my sh*t until this past summer. I'm sure some people haven't transferred yet. A lot of users are still on PS3/360 saving up for the newer consoles.

 

So do me a favor, mind your own business and don't give Rockstar anymore dumb ideas like this one. Because I couldn't care less about modded accounts or any of that petty sh*t. None of that crap should hold people back from transferring legit accounts, that's complete idiocy.

it's a battle R* will never win. Won't be long before the Jailbroken PS4s get their own mod menus for GATO. How about R* just focus on decent content instead of wiping people's bank accounts. All they've done is release public lobby content and crack down on modded $$$$. Nothing for all the story mode fans, nothing of substance for the PvE crowd since heists. Just expensive content, and gameplay that ends up being a money drain in public lobby warzones.

As long as the account doesn't have super high rank and money for example level 8000, and carrying around 3 billion. Though the important thing is that the character MUST BE at least 30 days old in order to transfer.

After that, they can do whatever they want to the people who haven't transferred.

But anyway, I don't think they should. It's not the fault of the players that Rockstar couldn't figure out how to mace a successful anti-cheat system - instead of relying on the new consoles not having been cracked yet.

 

Besides, modded accounts aren't a problem, and aren't the cause of high prices. They're really just a false flag.

Theres a 30 day since creation check and 700mil cash limit.

TBH. In the modding discussion thread on 7sins everyone have different replies for what's the maxed money and rank you should mod in able to transfer. Some say can't be over 500 and some said 250 and some even said 1000 so not sure who to believe ( I hate that some people don't even know how to mod yet keeps on repeating what other people who cleary don't know what they're talking about said ) . As far as I know is that I made mine to level 300 with 700 mil.

The money amount being transferred will be flagged above all you can believe that above the speculation of acceptable level. That would make paying for a modded account quite usless don't you think. Eh, if they're still fine so long as they're not ridiculous, then it's mostly business as usual.

 

Get an account with a hundred million (maybe a little less) - they can't really say that's technically impossible to get can they? Especially if you hadn't bought anything.

 

And that's playing it safe. You could probably raise it to something like 200 million.

closing transfers to block modded accounts is like amputating your hand because of a broken finger, yes, your finger is no longer broken, but that's because you no longer have it at all. Rockstar should implement a better system for catching the modded accounts on PS3 and preventing them from transferring with their modded features, blocking all players on last gen from transferring their progress is no solution, because a lot of players who have done nothing wrong get hurt by it.

I know some people nay not agreed with this but the game has been out for 3 years now and you have been able to transfer for 2 years. Its obvious that the majority of Accounts coming from last gen systems are modified. They have already taken a big step by clearing out most of the nodded money in the game, but this should be their next step.

Indeed, disagreed completely.

Even though i transferred a long time ago by now, the option to transfer should never be disabled or even limited if you ask me.

Rockstar should just give ps3 and xbox360 their long deserved anti-cheat and fixes and maintain all that stuff.

It is still completely ungrateful how they are treating their player base on those consoles...they should at least give them a real anti-cheat that will last for a few years and balance some sh*t.

Let's go one step further, they should just shut their business altogether.

 

By the way, to the people saying that they should close all the transfers: I'm planning to switch from PS4 to PC in a few months. If they closed the transfers, I wouldn't be able to do that, and therefore I would have no reason to buy GTA V on PC (at least legally), so that's one less customer for R*, and less money for them and T2.
