Lobbies keep emptying

I did a quick search for topics like this and found a couple, but they are out of date and never really got off the ground to begin with.

 

But I have run into a small issue when joining lobbies with 10 or more players in them, it doesn't happen all the time, but has been happen a bit more lately. Everything will be ok when I join, people are using the chat and theres lots of activity around, but usually around the 5-10 minute mark, the lobby immediately empties out and I end up in a session all alone with no one joining for the remainder of the time. Now, when it comes to CEO and MC work, this is a blessing in disguise, but sometimes I like the multiplayer interaction. I just wanted to make sure it was nothing on my end thats causing this issue. I don't think my internet connection or settings are the culprit , my speeds and ping are really good according to speedtest and I never really have had other network issues when it comes to gaming. I don't think its my PC, I'm using a direct wired connection on a pretty damn good motherboard that hasn't failed me on anything else yet.

 

Is this a common issue? Is it Rockstar's server's fault? or Do people just hate me with a burning passion? lol
