Alternatively when I'm driving and there's someone else in their car driving on the opposite side of the road actually drives pass without trying to ram into me or U-turn to sticky bomb me.

Tbh I avoid all frustrating work and run inv only sessions doing vip. So im not happy when a random heist crew actually succeeds or when ive sold a warehouse or business. I was happy about that at one point but not anymore. Oh wait thats it:

Got a new one. This last Saturday, we had a nearly full public lobby filled with 26 friends, crew members and friends of friends. Despite a few unfortunate interactions between a new guy in one of the crews that fired on anything that moved and and two unrelated friends getting into it until they realized each was friendly, it was glorious. Once everyone figured out who each other was, everyone just got to work. It almost was like a R* DLC trailer. Even when we did get a random that caused a little trouble, it was interesting to see 2/3rds of the lobby come down on him.

 

Made a couple mil not really even working and blew half on it on the Seawash Tornado I finally found after a month and a half of searching. It was a good day.

Yesterday I driving a slow af Camper carrying my crate back to the warehouse when a Kuruma came after me. I was busy fighting it off and wasn't paying attention to the road and it ended up upside down in the middle of a T-junction out in the open in Little Seoul.

 

I had to get out because I couldn't throw stickies upside down. So I got out and blew up the Kuruma and fended off another Kuruma and another player while trying to get the Camper back on its wheels. Eventually with 3 minutes left of the timer I managed to do it and drove to my warehouse:D

 

Hardest crate delivery ever. Was fun though:D

A rank 15 joined during my coke sale. The lobby was me, the rank 15 and my friend who I brought as insurance. In case Post OP van tragedy occured once more. It didn't, though. It was a buzzard sale. As I picked up the last buzzard and flew towards my first drop off point, the rank 15 was now really close. In passive mode. I was flying over the Alamo Sea, while he was heading towards Sandy Shores on the road away from the Alamo Sea Coke business.

 

Needless to say, I expected him to un-passive any time now, pull out a HL launcher (no level requirement, and at rank 15 I wouldn't even be surprised if he had the money to buy that) and blow me up... for some extra cash.

 

This being an unarmed buzzard, I'd be completely defenseless. My friend was on the other side of the map, even in a Hydra going at top speed he wouldn't make it. Not even in a pre-Bikers glitched RE-7B.

 

But the rank 15 didn't do that, he just drove past to wherever he was going. A few minutes later he left, though I don't really know why. My friend was in pause menu during this.

 

So... yeah, when rank 15s in those annoying angel masks don't turn out to be bloodthirsty monsters, it's a pretty good day IMO. It's all about managing your expectations.

Winning stand your ground against tanks and hydras.

The tanks especially are a big deal in stand your ground - since you don't pick the location, you can't really just run up a ladder to a roof and deal with them that way (how I usually would).

 

I've seen them be pretty devastating in that mode.
