I can see where the OP is coming from, what with being discruntled over getting "pocket change." I mean, we sh*t 250k these days in GTA:O. This isn't the old days where a bike costs 9k, and your "expensive" outfit is 5k. I just spent close to 250k on a single outfit, lol. I honestly can't think of anything much I could get with that these days. That's half the money to start work on a single car at Benny's. Yes, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was getting free money, but that was about it. That'll pay for my gas money to get to my cocaine lockup, lmao. I could also see people being miffed about the fact, that after 3 years they basically get a fiver from Rockstar to go to 6 Flags. Sure, it's nice I suppose, and it's five bucks I didn't have before, but even the drinks cost $7.50...So.

What I do really like however, is the discounts. Those can be used, especially considering 30% off 10 million is a good chunk of CEO grinding I don't have to do. Sitting by myself, it usually takes 6 or so hours to get a million dollars doing CEO grinding off and on. Now I can save a few weekends from the grind! A little put back by all of the childish responses and harresment in this thread, though.

You're absolutely right - this is the way Rockstar should have approached it and perhaps what the OP was actually trying to say?

 

Where's our REAL reward, Rockstar, for being loyal and grinding your game for three years? How about giving day 1 players a free golden Luxor deluxe at 10 Million dollars? It's a worthless pile of crap, but hey, that would be a nice gift for us guys.

Online was launched on the 1st of October 2013, I started a few days after. That's longer than three years.

I used to be living the life, lol. I had billions from some random modder on 360. That day they took away all of our money, I slowly lost it all. Before the CEO update, I was living in a single two car garage, with just my Phoenix and a bycicle, barely ever being able to afford my own power bill because an ammo refill would cost me 100,000k after doing some LS connections and Rooftop Rumble, lol. Sure, I still live in that two car garage with my phoenix, but I've got a business now. Sure, I've spent like 6 mill on it all, and have yet to break even, but at least I can get money when I need it now. Currently have 750k in one of my warehouses waiting for a rainy day.

The point is we feel rather 'peeved' at the piddling 250k... well not 'peeved' exactly... it's free money after all, but rather nonplussed at Rockstar's lack of generosity. It's a rather feeble attempt to look generous, when in reality it's a marketing tool to keep us logged in this week and next.
