Can't complain too much since it's at least something. 250k isn't a lot but this didn't really need it's own topic. Considering they give low discounts on small things such as guns and clothes it's kind of expected.

 

The users saying that Rockstar are giving us everything for nothing are wrong. They're clearly getting something and have made more then $500 million alone in micro transactions Shark card sales. Keeping those peer to peer servers running is extremely cheap and costs next to nothing.

Some of the cars are discounted so I'm sure you can get something you like. Once they completely clear modded accounts, the prices (hopefully) will go down & legit people will get some money back.

There is ~150 vehicles you can buy in game that cost $250K or less.

You can buy all the purchasable melee weapons for $51,350

You can buy all the purchasable Pistols for $40,550

You can buy all the SMG's for $38,750

You can buy all the Shotguns for $60,000

You can buy all the Rifles for $61,650

You can buy all the SMG's for $32,400

You can buy all the Sniper Rifles for $73,900

You can buy all the Heavy Weapons for $204,350

Rockstar decided to give 250k to anyone logging in this week, probably to help anyone who had modded money removed by giving thm something to start with, they gave it to everyone because why not, now people are angry they didn't get more.

I know I wasn't. I got GTA V on launch for $16 and I got GTA V for the XB1 for $30. Plus, I've gotten a bonus online mode which has kept me entertained for 3+ years and in that time I've gotten 24 free DLC's.

What i do not understand is that some people here act like it is something special or something that we would have to be gratefull for. I mean its not something that would cost them any effort to to and also the gta money has no real worth to them because the can generate as much gta dollars as they want. It kinda costs them, it's worth the 2 cheapest shark cards, not much though.

Everyone already has all the weapons in the game (like, come on - who doesn't?). That leaves cheap, slow old vehicles.

Still a tiny amount of money though, and when you see small groups of people going on about separate games and how no one should ever complain ... It's hard to feel any sympathy for them when they b*tch about someone saying what's on their mind.
