Horrible lag on public sessions (PS4)

My ps4 plays the game smooth on jobs and on invinite only sessions is it only me or do i need to change my HDD or look for a solution?

Its been very shaky lately - I wouldn't be surprised if it's on Rockstar's end, honestly.

Like whenever i speed up my vehicle the scenery (background) accomadteds to the vehicles speed abnormally

I have phenomenal internet, for work reasons. I have never seen it this bad, lagging so bad it freezes my game and i have to close the program.

It's a joke. I even forwarded my ports and play on wired connection. My god, I have never struggled to stay online this much in a game ever.

I think sooner or later this is going to have to be made a bigger deal than it is right now.

Which sucks because I love this game and have spent an obscene amount of hours playing it. It is bear unplayable for me now. It wasn't even this bad on ps3 ffs, ps4 is just hell.

Im noticing it on xbox as well and it takes me like 3 tries to find a session, not sure why they are having trouble really online is 3 years old should have this worked out by now.

Yea' it's messy on PS4, for myself, it's started when bikers DLC dropped.

It fixes up now and again, sometimes... only, at moment online is not running smooth for PS4 and I thought it because Halloween coming and the sky change + whatever Halloween DLC old/new that's getting added.

Works fine for me, and my internet connection is bad from how far my PS4 is from the WiFi box

Its not your ps4. The hosting system has been shotty since day one. If someone else playing has a crap connection or severe lagg, everyone else in that session will feel the effects.

 

Its a complicated issue that no one here can explain with 100% certainty. All you can do is prey to whichever god you believe in for a good day and hope for the best.

Its not your ps4. The hosting system has been shotty since day one. If someone else playing has a crap connection or severe lagg, everyone else in that session will feel the effects.

 

Its a complicated issue that no one here can explain with 100% certainty. All you can do is prey to whichever god you believe in for a good day and hope for the best.

Oddly enough, me and the buds noticed some lag when we retaliated against a crew from Brazil, I guess that supposition their internet is really not up to speed has some merir and can cause interruptions towards others.

 

Luckily we've not hit any other issues that seems to be hitting my fellow PS4ers and the XBoners.
