Do you manage to get anything done in public sessions?

If I don't run into any contact by some try hard I usually get a lot done. Daily objectives, ceo/vip ops or crate runs. Ill do a simeon vehicle if I can find one. Ill make sure the lobby is empty or at least with a few crew mates just in case things get hot. I am at the point now I don't think I have anything to prove to any wannabe so I just kill them once and thats it.

* People always resort to sniping you from a roof

 

* You get a rocket fired at you if you use cover to your advantage

 

* Proximity mines thrown everywhere just to make sure you don't get an easy revenge kill on them

 

* Ammo is purchasable from interaction menu, infinite rockets and sticky bombs

 

* HL is useless against jets despite being its supposed counter, but very effective against everything else

 

I'll make my post unnecessarily long if I add more points, but just because you don't have any issue with a certain problem it doesn't mean you're allowed to be smug about people who actually have it.

 

I'm saying this as a guy who likes PvP btw, I just hate it whenever the player I'm against resorts to extremely cheap tactics and invisible outfits.

The first 4 points aren't actual issues, just combat tactics. Learn to counteract them, if you got the skillz, which you might not, since you're only complaining.

 

- yup, even in real life, snipers are usually placed on top of buildings. Weird, huh?

- good, corner shooters are boring to pvp with. Either fire it up in the open, or get blown up.

- well, who's fault is it that you can't hear the beep from the mines? Buy better headphones. And you only get 5 proxies, "everywhere" is a clear exaggeration.

- not quite infinite. If you're in the middle of a big freeroam war, you still have to find a safe space to purchase the ammo that has been depleted.

 

Other than that, I absolutely hate jets too. Even when spamming RPGs in the air, I still might get killed up to 10 times by the jet scum before he gets destroyed by my rockets. Plus it's very expensive, ammo wise, to kill a jet pilot.

The most pathetic of tryhards will go into passive after you've destroyed them and get another jet.

 

And to answer the main question of the thread, no, it would be risky and quite foolish of me to do sales missions in public lobbies with over 15 players.

Ideas taken from the "I am that guy" thread but I amused myself earlier trolling the tryhards. Starting Sightseer & collecting the first case then, depending where I was, either flying up the the top of Mount Chiliad to sit there with my homing launcher or else dive down into the subways and watch the white dots milling about on the map above me.
