Do you think R* will do 2x RP and money on heists or missions again?

For missions I think they've done it twice so far (The second time being in February if I remember correctly) and once for heists, over a year ago. Is there any chance that they'll do this again? I'm hoping so since I need the RP, and more money wouldn't hurt. It also drives players to play more.

I hope so. Maybe I'll get a chance to play through them all, Unlikely however. Contact missions are more likely to have a double payout weekend then heists. Personally I think some double payouts for cooperative jobs are due.

 

All that said I think the payouts for contact missions should be double payout permanently.

I suppose it's possible, but I want to say that heists would be more likely than general contact missions. They did them for the Lamar (Lowrider) missions not that long ago, but I can't even remember when a new actual contact mission were released, so as a whole, they seem to be a quite unlikely candidate.

 

Of course, as long as R* keeps making and pushing Adversary modes, I would say you're more likely to see those.

 

I'm still holding out for Double Money (don't care at all about RP) for Team Deathmatches, but that's probably about as a likely as R* actually addressing the game breaking issues that just keep adding up.

They'll try to make some bullsh*t excuse and have the start-up cost to start a heist be 25% off or something, I doubt they'd redo such a great event nowadays.

Tbh I don't think they'll ever find a way to patch the PSJ glitch. There's no way, when you think about it; You need the checkpoints.

Doubt they will ever do it again due to $$$. In that week alone I earned enough money to last me for three updates and beyond using the PSJ glitch with a crew. Though, I wouldn`t say "no" if they did it again.

Weekend ??? Duuude it was a full month!. One week for each Heist, I didn't make 70mil in a weekend lol.

 

Although I did make 30 during Humane labs week and 40 during Pac. The other two aren't worth playing for coins.

RP is pathetic on Heists, you won't level up fast that way. Best to play Adversary mode or something else double RP if you need to level up. Most of us don't care for leveling anymore.

The ones I usually play still pay the same as pre-biker. Do you have some examples?

 

OT: Like stated before: Very unlikely that the heists will get double, especially PAC standard. They might do it for contact missions, as a lot of people are forgetting how much fun they can because they are worthless for quick money-making.

They actually did do a 2nd double RP event on heists very recently but it didn't last the full 6 or so days that the events last for these days. It was just double RP though not money as well. I think another update happened shortly after that kind of overrode it (possibly the launch of Bikers I can't remember). As has been mentioned though even on double RP heists aren't a very good way to rank up. The original poster would be best served either grinding a race playlist solo (which Rockstar give us quite frequently) making each race last 4 minutes, selling one crate at a time with CEO work or doing a crystal clear out 3 playlist. Failing all that just regular contact missions in freeaim is the best way to level up.

I only played them all on the weekend, Cant remember how much I made and most of that weekend I was not sober.

As long as the PacStd finale glitch exist, it's very unlikely. A consequence of a glitch R* is too afraid to fix since it may further break the heist. Who knows? The same could possibly be with CEO work now that you can run Headhunter and Sightseer back to back or use the Wave trick to earn mad cash. I myself earned a big chunk of cash during the double VIP work payouts

I wish the 2x payout would be permanent for contact missions and other things. There are some versus jobs and cm's I love but nobody wants to play them because of the payout. Also, why the hell did Rockstar remove 7 rounds and decrease it to 4?

They did that for a whole month? God damn. I wish I had taken apart in that but I wasn't playing GTAO anymore at the time. I would've played the sh*t out of it.

In February when they did the double on missions, I think I ranked up 20 or 30 ranks in a week and got 4-7 mil. They really need to do that again, I liked the idea how each day it was double on a specific mission (One day were Gerald's missions, then Lester's, then Martin's, etc). But imagine them doing it for a month. Shiiiiit.
