Turn Targeting off for Players

It's getting out of hand. You try to do a delivery mission, supply, or whatever and some asshat comes flying in with his jet and blows you up before you can get anywhere.

 

At least give us a fighting chance. Make them have to manually target you so they have potential to miss.

 

You can't target the Lost vans in that mission where you have to blow them up you have to manual it or go rambo on them on the ground.

 

Should be the same if you're delivering cargo, supplies, product etc. Jets, helis, etc can't target you but if the guy's good at manual targeting so be it, he deserves to get you.

 

Just saying. It's just a waiting game when you start a mission, waiting for some punk 12 year old to come in and think he's a badass because he auto targeted you from a thousand miles away. It's just dumb rockstar logic.

As soon as i get blown up when delivering i immediately turn off my console to prevent my stuff from being removed and lost forever

While I do agree with your idea of taking away target locks on players carrying cargo, there's still nearly no chance of ever surviving against a strafing run from a jet's cannons.

On the topic of auto-lock, I think players inside of cargo vehicles should not be able to become auto-aimed by players on foot. It's really no fun to drive around the corner, only to get blasted by a guy with a Carbine rifle along with perfect accuracy. This of course only applies to Auto-Aim lobbies.

OP your problems are solved by simply switching to freeaim lobbies when doing sales and stuff...

This is why I never call lester right away when doing cargo or mc work. I found out by chasing cargo if the person has a ton of cops you hit one of them then the attacking players targeting priority on air and ground if auto aim will switch to cops. Use them to your advantage it works. If you have cops they will be forced to free aim you.

You're just repeating the same sh*t that most of us with half a brain already know.. and hate about the game.

 

This game is not balanced. And R* only cares about cash cards.
