I know getting kicked from a job lobby will get you bs points, I didn't think you get them for getting kicked from a freeroam session.

 

Really? I know that if you leave or get kicked from a playlist in progress, it warns you of bad sport points, but I didn't know this pertained to job lobbies in general.

 

That's ridiculous though; I primarily do jobs when I am in game, and I am often forced to go on-call unless I want to host myself. There have been days when I have received the "you have been kicked from the job" notification several times in a row. I've never been to bad sport or even become dodgy though.

 

I don't think job lobbies count. Otherwise all us high levels would be in BS land due to low levels being sh*t scared of our presence.

Yeah some ppl have no courtesy. Few days ago I was in a lobby all by myself for about 2 hours, just grinding my cocaine lockup then two dickheads suddenly joined and kicked me out the lobby that I was in first.

Being a lone wolf I don't often have the capability to kick people anyway. It's very rare I'll do anything that needs safety in a populated session. If I do, occasionally there's a peace message. I just go with what feels right at the time, you know.

 

One thing I would say, is that a player who knows his stuff might be able to make things backfire if you warn them. They can start some VIP work, and then even if they're voted out, it won't work until their thing's over (which could be 30 minutes - plenty of time for messing with you).

This is stupid and unfair, ANYONE should be welcomed in public lobbies if that's what they f*cking are!

 

Why instead of kicking somebody you just don't get your MTU set to 800? That way you don't have to be a dick about kicking others and don't give innocent players bad sports points.

 

This is not a debate about kicking people. This is a thread asking those who do, to send a courtesy message before doing so. Please read the entirety of the original post before commenting.

No, this is actually a thread where you pontificate and demand people show courtesy before they bounce you out of a lobby for being a jerk.

It actually belongs in the B!tch & Moan thread, but the moderators let it go.

 

Frankly, it's quite discourteous to lecture and dictate in-game protocol to an entire forum of players. Many may not see things your way.

It sounds to me like you kinda got butthurt and want, in the future, other players to explain themselves for butthurting you.

 

And for the record, I've been kicked with messages telling me to "join us or we'll kick you," and I just laugh when I'm booted.

I don't usually hold onto it for days.

 

Just sayin. Accept being kicked and stop whining, please.

I'm glad you know me so well.

 

Now let me explain why I created this thread. Because I kick people out of lobbies to keep them empty. I decided to start sending messages to people, giving them a chance to leave before we vote kicked them. And I decided that maybe I could share this idea with others and encourage them to do the same thing.

 

But thank you again for knowing me as well as you do and telling me my reasoning behind this threads creation.

 

Now go back to cracking the game files and letting sh*tty youtubers take credit for your work.

1. I didn't claim to know you, so your victim posture is moot. I only replied to what you provided in your original post.

 

2. In your original post, you never mentioned "why" you created the thread OR that you were the one kicking players OR that you were the one sending messages.

 

3. In your original post, you wrote, "if you are going to kick somebody..." You wrote this to the forum, telling us that if WE are going to kick somebody...

 

4. In your original post, you wrote, "have the courtesy of sending them a message before you do." Again, to the forum, telling us that if WE are going to kick somebody then WE should have the courtesy to send a message, first.

 

5. In your original post, you wrote, "This gives them a chance to leave... for doing nothing wrong," admitting that you enjoy sending messages to players minding their own business, threatening them that if they don't leave, you'll force them to, for no good reason.

 

Sorry, but this whole thread is either an elaborate troll or it's an embarrassing admission that you'd espouse such appalling behavior.

 

As for your comment about me "cracking files" and "YouTubers," I don't know what you're talking about, which makes me think neither do you.
