I think Pisces has better vehicles or at least more to my preference. I'm pretty sure Rockstar were having a little bit of fun by making the cheaper boat the better one in the knowledge that everyone would buy the most expensive, hence the "this one, obviously" line.

Since we didn't get all the motorcycles released today we will have to pick another game after this one. Thankfully we have a few options this time:

Districts

I've thought of a pretty good elimination game that might work in future. Districts, made up of these possibly. It would be interesting to see the different reasons for people favouring some over others.

Downtown (Downtown Los Angeles)

Downtown is the financial center of Los Santos and its most urbanised area, with the presence of the tallest high-rises in the city, including the huge Maze Bank Tower, the FIBand IAA buildings, the Union Depository and the Mile High Club, still under construction. The district is divided into the neighborhoods of Pillbox Hill, Mission Row, Textile City and Legion Square.

South Los Santos (South Los Angeles)

An economically depressed, predominantly African-American area of the city, characterized by street gangs and low-income housing projects. South Los Santos is divided into the neighborhoods of Strawberry, Rancho, Chamberlain Hills and Banning, and also contains the incorporated city of Davis.

East Los Santos (East Los Angeles)

A large district with a high concentration of Latino residents and a strong gang presence, in particular the Los Santos Vagos and the Marabunta Grande. Although the district is primarily industrial, it has been experiencing gentrification over the last years. East Los Santos is split into the neighborhoods of La Mesa, Cypress Flats, El Burro Heights and Murrieta Heights.

Rockford Hills (Beverly Hills)

Predominantly a shopping and residential area, Rockford Hills is an affluent incorporated city that merged into Los Santos. The iconic Portola Drive is a major tourist attraction in the city. The district also contains the smaller neighbourhood of Burton in the southeast.

Vinewood (Hollywood)

A large and affluent district, famous for being the home of the entertainment industry and for its theaters and nightclubs. Vinewood is divided into the neighborhoods of Alta, Hawick, Downtown Vinewood, West Vinewood, East Vinewood and Mirror Park.

Vinewood Hills (Hollywood Hills)

Notable for its views of Los Santos, the iconic Vinewood Sign and its expensive homes and celebrity inhabitants.

Richman (Bel Air, Holmby Hills)

A rich, high-class neighborhood known for its large luxury mansions. The Los Santos Golf Club is located here, making it an exclusive recreation area.

Morningwood (Westwood)

A quiet and wealthy commercial and residential neighborhood, known for its historic theaters.

Little Seoul (Koreatown, Wilshire)

Located in Central Los Santos, Little Seoul is a middle class district with an ethnically diverse population, home to Korean and Asian inmigrants.

Del Perro (Santa Monica)

A laidback, trendy beachfront community widely known for its beach and the world famous Pleasure Pier.

Vespucci (Venice)

A residential, commercial and recreational beachfront neighborhood known for its canals, beaches and a world-famous front walk. Vespucci is split into the neighborhoods of Vespucci Beach, Vespucci Canals and Puerto Del Sol.

La Puerta (San Pedro)

A community with strong roots in the fishing and longshoring industry, La Puerta is primarily industrial and sparsely populated. The district is the home of the Maze Bank Arena.

Los Santos International Airport (Los Angeles International Airport)

One of the busiest airports in the world. The LSIA district is also the location of the airport's nearby warehouses, hotels and restaurants.

Port of Los Santos (Port of Los Angeles)

The major seaport for the city of Los Santos and the busiest port in America. It is split into two areas: Elysian Island, the location of Pier 400, the Naval Port, shipyards and various warehouses, and Terminal, a maritime container terminal.

Pacific Bluffs (Pacific Palisades)

Home to the world-famous Kortz Centre museum, Pacific Bluffs is the entrance gate to western Los Santos. Like neighboring Richman, it is predominantly a high-class residential district with a low population density.

Contact missions

Deathmatches

Adversary modes

Stunt Races

Strippers

Sports Classics

Sports Cars

The poll is open, it will run for the next 24 hours

Ooh new game! Too bad It is a short one.

Aquarius 7 (+1)

A game of Pisces practicality vs Aquarius luxury.

The Lampadati Toro says it all. Doesn't move as fast as others, but who cares when you can pour a glass of champagne while knifing through ten foot waves.

I definitely care more about getting to places faster than I do pouring a glass of e-champagne. :)

Besides the Speeder is just as plush as the Toro, it just also happens to be faster and better looking. The clincher for me when picking a yacht was that the Swift was as much of a luxury heli as the Aquarius one (SuperVolito?) but was sexier and faster too. The practicality vs. luxury thing is a bit of a smokescreen, the Pisces is best for both.

My reason is that the layout of the decks is much better on the Pisces, and you can get to the front without running up and down decks. And you got a sun roof to prevent sneaky bastards from entering under piracy preventions.

That is a really defensive and subjective opinion... it's a question of preference, bar a million dollars, and I think the Lampadati Toro is absolutely gorgeous and far superior in my eyes.

I have the Aquarius on my main character and the Pisces on my second character, and I don't have a preference for either one really. But the Aquarius is the most expensive and that's why my main character has it, including the more expensive auxiliary equipment.

I don't really want to get all into it, but for OBVIOUS REASONS, the PISCES is the clear winner, regardless of what anyone says.

I like the Aquarius, but it's no big deal. It's only a game.

Plus since I don't own a Pisces ... Well, you know. People who own both have a more well-rounded knowledge of them.

This is the expected result. We all knew the Pisces would win, but hey, the Aquarius put up a right royal battle and I'm really surprised by that.

Both of them are great and I think we established the important facts a long time ago - the Orion, what a POS :)

I thought it'd be closer than that but for me the best yacht won. I guess a lot of the people who I've seen championing the Aquarius weren't voting.

As for the next game, I think whoever suggested districts/neighborhoods did indeed come up with a great idea. It would be new and fresh. Plus, in real life, I've seen people take pride in their neighborhoods and/or get into debates on forums like City-Data about which neighborhoods in a city are the best. It would be interesting to see this applied to GTA Online's Los Santos, a large city consisting of many neighborhoods, each with their own distinct character.

Congratulations Pisses. Nah, you're alright Pisces.

I'm going to have to check it out for myself some time. Oh, thanks for hosting again Amy :^:

You hipsters and your aquarius yachts. This game was rigged. It's just a hipster competition where the most popular option gets voted out first.

Lol

Good game... looks like the next one is 'districts'.

Can we keep it simple and use the following map as a guide? (not sure if it's 100% accurate)

tXdUH68.jpg

Look at 'South Los Santos' for example, which could be further broken up into Strawberry, Chamberlain Hills (Davis is separate btw) and Rancho. That would be way too complex.

And only start with 20 points?

Since it was Arthur F. Shelby's idea, I'd really like to stick with his locations and descriptions.

And there are 15 choices in his idea, I don't think the game will drag on if they are started at 40, thats less choices then the last supercar game, it should be just long/short enough of a game to carry us until the last of the motorcycles are released.

It looks OK, and I hadn't seen it before... go for it. Remember to state in the description that it's the city and not Blaine County, as there's no Chumash, Sanday Shores, Grapeseed, Paleto Bay, etc...

I voted for Districts because it's something new. It's not something I've given much thought to but I'm sure that as the game unfolds I'll have a better idea about what I want to vote for and why.
