Lost all my saved outfits!

If someone lost all their outfits is it better to get new outfits and save them now or just wait and do nothing until this whole thing blows over?

I remade all my outfits, they seem to stick for me without problems. Just missing the cop outfit, I guess noone knows a way to get back on PC since the old method isn't working anymore.

They're complete wipes this time: before, the names of the old outfits would appear if you tried to save in their slots; this time it just says "empty".

Well, MY experience is that they disappear anyway. Some have said that if you completely shut down the application WITHOUT changing characters or leaving/changing sessions they will stay. I personally can't be bothered to do that so I'll have to settle for just having one outfit: the one I'm wearing at the time.

 

It's not going to be fun waiting years for them to fix this.

PS, how many of you guys are spawing into random garages even when set to last location?. I bet this and the saved outfits deleting is caused by the account check/filter as it passes through your account. I say this because all this and the pegasus vehicles are stored in that same file seperate to the car/garage one. I think there's potential for pegasus stuff to go missing also.

lost all yesterday , the only glitched outfit that I have was the cop one. All started with a "cloud servers of rockstar error" or something then all of my outfits was gone , log out and try like 2 times and nothing. On pc btw.

Im not big into glitching and have no invisible body parts.

Switched on today to find all my outfits of main character deleted. Only about a yrs worth of collecting so not to worry tpo much. I had a black duffle bag on one outfit that never gets used, and a biker mask with no helmet on another. Thats it. My second character with biker mask no helmet is unaffected so only thing it could be was duffle bag!!

If you do heists alot like me all it takes is for someone to leave while in the player launch game lobby and you get stuck with the duffle bag. so looks like i got penalised for faults that are already in the game??

That's what Rockstar does. They penalise us for bugs they are responsible of. And doesn't remove things they are suppose to remove or add things they are suppose to add.

 

no, rockstar don't care about glitched outfits.

it's just a very old bug which is in the game from the beginning which keeps appearing from time to time.

this time it seems to be very bad.

but you can see that it is not intentional by rockstar because it also happened to people who don't have glitched outfits at all.

 

so people please stop mentioning the cop outfit or whatever glitched outfit and imagining any connections of it to this annoying bug.

Ffs, my outfits are gone too, although the bandana trick still works. It's the one where you put on the hat and bandana mask of your choice then proceed to launch a contact mission which makes the hat and glasses disappear.

Since Rockstar made the clothing system, the shops and the saved outfits features available, I'd say you're dead wrong.

There we have it - A classic Rockstar f*ck up. They'd have said "The outfits were removed because they were illegitimately gained" or some such gobsh*te otherwise.

 

I only hope that when they fix this my outfits come back as they were. I've not changed anything since they went. I believe it's just our access to them disappeared, not the outfits.

As far as I know you can only transfer the outfit you were currently wearing before you transferred. But they may have updated it so you can bring all 10.

Coincidentally there was a "modder" in the lobby when I checked my outfits. He teleported himself on the back seat of my bike and put this safety cone on my head, so I just switched the lobby and my outfits were still gone.

I disagree completely. There's well over 500 apparel and accessories that can be purchased for both male and female characters. And to be honest, GTA can be played in any way someone wants.

I happen to know christmas trees etc. in "the past" (prior to the F&F DLC) where much more "modders" were around on PC. Nowadays I rarely run into "modders". Not sure how the old (?) safety cones look like.

 

EDIT:

This was uploaded Jan 2015. Same safety/traffic cone. The one I got was orange as well... maybe some different lighting conditions make it appear more reddish (I suppose?) in my pics.

The only difference I've noticed is that, in her video, her safety cone is more on the top of her head, while my cone covers almost my entire face. xD

I hope so too, bro - but I doubt it. Like post #153 states: "They're complete wipes this time: before, the names of the old outfits would appear if you tried to save in their slots; this time it just says "empty."

 

If the names were still there, I'd have more faith because in the past I've had outfits magically reappear in the slots if the name stayed after the outfit disappeared. This "empty" sh*t makes it look grim.
