No one that earns his money legit wants to blow it away on ghost organisations rockets and explosives just to mess someone else's gaming experience, which is exactly what all you cheaters are doing. Only wanting to have a high kd and wanting to disrupt the gaming community because it's easy getting your kd up in freeroam but then being complete noobs in a deathmatch because you got no gaming skills. While we are trying to enjoy this beautiful game y'all are ruining gta for everyone!

This is literally the most retarded response I could possibly hope for. I like how you simply assume I'm a cheater, because I disagree with you. I earn my money legitimately, and I do sometimes use hydras, ghost organization, and so forth. I've tried to make it clear that those things are not expensive. But if you think they are, you're probably just ass at the game. You can do sight seer between cargo runs if you're in a lobby more or less on your own for a day, and the next day spam Ghost Org until you're blue in the face.

 

You may have to realize that you're not going to be able to have autistic peaceful criminal roleplay hour on PS4. It's a game that's built around killing and generally being a dick to other players, unless you're doing something cooperatively. Granted, I'm on PC and play with a controller, so most of my lobbies are not heavily populated.

 

Hell, do what I do when people are griefing.

-Go passive

-Follow them for long periods of time

-Occasionally drop out to kill them

-Repeat

 

There's a reason the freemode oriented means of making money, are open to being screwed with by other players. Because otherwise it's just farmville.

Though some "high and mighty behaviour" can be a bit disgusting, legit players are affected by modded money, especially when it's sold. Every dollar that would've been spent on shark-cards and is now taken by some modders, would be a few more cents invested in the development of the game.

Just some people modding for themselves isn't the problem, it's the criminals making money off it. They're the real disgusting ones!

 

 

Also, modders never have to save money, never have to play jobs, never have to worry about blowing up personal vehicles, etc. IT seems like a minor thing, but it isn't, because the result is constant, consequence-free griefing. Can constantly use explosives, etc.

 

MOd money to buy the sh*t you want, but don't grief, and still play missions/races/heists so that others can get matches easier? Fine with me, I don't care.

I see your logic, it's obvious. But I feel the same way about this that I do about taxes. You pay and get so little in return that it's almost maddening. Taxes aren't wrong, but tax payer abuse IS.

 

The value of GTA dollars continues to go down. If they were being fair about prices, then Shark Card money would pay for the same amount of content they used to. If they were being fair we would not be grinding longer for less $ value. You can blame the cheaters and glitchers for the increasing prices on content, but that makes no sense. They could have done this a long time ago, like so many other broken things on this game. They don't do anything unless they start thinking it hurts the bottom line.

 

But R* will not get one more devalued American dollar out of me for this game. No one who got $ deleted will buy Shark Cards unless they're retarded.

I am a... legit player... if you will, and I don't brag about the stuff I got by playing as a good sport. The reason that I play like that is because I never saw the point of grinding. Everytime I play a videogame is because I want to have fun, so I make in-game money simply by having fun, instead of feeling like I need to get certain car or clothing piece. The money just comes naturally and it feels better this way because it means I never treated the game like a job.

 

Also I do think some ''legit players'' have a good reason to be happy with this news. When you think about it, when kids want to have everything they want without any bit of ''effort'', they'll cheat to get millions of in-game dollars and buy everything they want. Once they have everything they want, they'll have no objectives, so they'll either get bored and quit, or get bored and cause chaos. That's why most people you see griefing and cheating are 4 digits accounts.

At least that's how the game is built. I don't know if it's good or not, but that's the way it is. It's funny how people have been playing a fantasy game for three years not knowing that it is not a fantasy game. It is work. Tough work, where you are the slave and Rockstar is the master. That's GTAO.

Real life for most adults is a grind. Going to a crappy job to do the same boring task over and over again and having to surpress you intelligence in the process. Gaming is not about being a mind numbing grind, it's meant to be fun. Rockstar have forgotten this. Playing the missions in GTA O was fun, whilst ranking up. After 3 years, they're just mind-numbing. They're not bad missions, just it's the same ones over and over again. Plus everything is ridiculously expensive. Sure you don't have to buy anything but it's nice to be able to enjoy the new content when it's released.

If you find GTA Online a grind this isn't the game for you. I work full time and still have enough time to make huge amounts of cash.

To "mod", is to manipulate game code (someone else's very hard work, ya wuss) to give you/allow you to do, things you obviously should not have/do.

 

To "glitch", is to abuse or take advantage of an unintentional gameplay mechanic in such a way as to also give you/allow you to do, things you obviously should not.

While both are technically cheating, one is purely the fault of R*, the other isn't.

 

If R* can't make sure their game works properly before launching an update resulting in simple glitches that may as well be done completely by accident (like the character swap glitch), why are we to blame? People shouldn't get banned for something R* allowed to happen. Game doesn't work as intended, yes, but the files haven't been changed in any way to allow this.

 

Modding literally tampers with the way game is behaving, that is not coded in the retail copy you could get anywhere (glitches are "coded" and found in retail copies meaning literally anyone can do it, that's not our fault). That deserves permabans when it comes to Online modding, I agree.

 

 

Take speedruns for example. People are duping missions by glitching the game (Any% WR for Vice City is a mere 12 minutes because of that). This can be done on copies found in stores, anyone can do it, so it is allowed in runs. Mods, on the other hand, like teleports or godmode, are not included with the game and not anyone can get them so they are not allowed in runs.
