Modded accounts are having their money drained.

You read that right, every single person I know who has a modded account has had their money reset to $0. Looks like they're finally cracking down on it. Friend of mine sent me this just now. Glitched cash is also being removed, according to Argahawk (need further reports from others for this claim to be backed up). I'll update this OP as more information becomes available.

 

It appears that those over a set amount of cash, mostly those in the billions or trillions of dollars, are being impacted the most. So far, I have not heard from anyone with under 1 billion dollars having their money reset.

Rockstar put in an Anti Cheat for transfers of modded accounts... Anything over 600-700million(Still being debated) sets off the Transfer block, they might have the same Amount to trigger wipes now

Anyone that gets a wipe please state how much you had in your account and on hand, maybe figure out what the maximum before a wipe is.

Alrightie. Let me add my stats to this. Among my 7 modded accounts NONE of them have lost any money on Xbox One

 

3 of them all had current balances of 450 million to 400 million but overal earnings of 800 million. 4 of them all had 200 to 100 mill total earned with 150 to 90 mill still on the account.

I bet this is activated by the time you log on and the game traces the amount of money you have.

 

I'm not surprised by this at all, but it heavily disappoints me that Rockstar would rather prioritize money wipes over fixing the game and make it function better.

It won't do them any good if they only filter on money. The hardcore enemies of R*,the ones who are selling modded accounts, have already been selling accounts with less than 100M to avoid stuff like this. Most just simple lvl120 accounts with like 20M in the bank.

They tried a few months ago, hitting a lot of people on Twitter and IG.

The thing is though, there are a sh*tLOAD of pages on FB to buy accounts or have yours modded and the new thing recently has been Kik chat.. Selling fully modded accounts for as little as $5. Rockstar will never stop them unless they come up with a true anti cheat for accounts.

And I'm not anti glitch/cheat whatsoever, I have multiple modded and transferred accounts

My accounts of 400 million on PS4 haven't been affected but I sunk 100mil in bonds just to be sure. Imho OP just made me waste 40mil but time will tell. I get the feeling we are talking about accounts with billions here.
