Algonquin Assassin
Even though this thread was really just made for trailer 1 I thought we might aswell have all of them. Enjoy. Uncle Vlad, Sonny_Black and Payne Killer
theGTAking101
Trailer 3 is probably my favorite, but they're all well made. I wish I was around in 2007-2008 to experience the hype. Then again I got to experience the V hype. Zello and Algonquin Assassin
Claude_Lib
"Move up, Ladies" was the first GTA IV trailer I saw and it got me really hyped up for the game, not only because they used Russian song, but because it fit so well, and immediatelly I knew this was gonna be great, because back then R* didn't have a tendency to dissappoint. I still think that it's the best GTA trailer yet. For the best GTA game, of course. Uncle Vlad
TommySpaghetti
The Niko Bellic character trailer was also nice! Gave me chills after watching it. Payne Killer
Algonquin Assassin
The Niko Bellic character trailer was also nice! Gave me chills after watching it. "I've killed people, smuggled people, sold people, perhaps here things will be different". When I first heard Niko utter those words it did indeed give me chills. I remember the IV hype train http://www.g4tv.com/videos/20186/first-impressions-gta-iv/ I was only like 12 but those days were fun theGTAking101
PhillBellic
The IV Hype Train left me better sated than the V Hype Train.
ViceBoy69
Always thought the trailers for V where a bit lame, IV's trailers had me wanting the game long before it came out, when it did finally appear I was living in Canada, so my copies of the game and EFLC are Canadian. Cr!minal
The first trailers of GTA games are always about setting the overall mood and showing the setting. Also, the first trailers somehow always manage to be the most different from the final release in terms of lighing quality and visuals. You could say it's because game is still in early development stages, but the first impressions matter the most. GTA V's first trailer was pretty good IMO. The rest were pretty forgettable though funnily enough like its messed up story. Sonny_Black
DOUGL4S1
Sorry for the "slight" bump, but this trailer just turned 10 years old. Just wanted to share that. Algonquin Assassin, Payne Killer, Femme Fatale and 2 others

Too bad that there was not a real work behind the scenes except only heavily scripted scenes. I still miss the whole atmosphere of this trailer; it feel to me that at one point, that was the GTA R* originally intended to release. A GTA 4 updated in every possible way. But..but...it look like the dev' minds just flipped through the process. Wasted potential Edited March 30, 2017 by anthony
Jabalous
It's now 10 years since the first trailer. It was the longest countdown R* made for a reveal trailer (full month).
