I'd still advise to get Sleeping Dogs, or the original Watch Dogs as well. And some indie games to boot. Just to get the sense of other genres and systems :)

Well to me Sleeping felt like GTA5 on 85% orso(graphics). Now I could handle that, the thing is they drive on the left which would confuse the sh*t out of me when driving. Also kung fu aint my thing, I dont like jackie chan movies and after watching gameplay on YT I was turned down.

I just wish you could shoot the enemy dead instead of being forced to melee them in missions. Kinda like watchdogs2 did, you can hack n do stealthy or go in guns blazing.. Kung fu or guns but its not.

If you have the money, I would buy all of those games. But if you don't, then I would choose Red Dead Redemption to experience that amazing game as well as get yourself ready for RDR2. However, I personally never played Sleeping Dogs and if I was in your position, then I would get that game as well. Hell, being in this thread made me interested in Sleeping Dogs. I'll have to go pick it up now.

Well the thing is GTAO brings out dlc every 2 months orso. I grind 3 weeks and then im rdy for the next dlc. The time between that im bored and wanted something new cause a new dlc only is fun for 2 weeks orso cause its still on the same map ive been for the past 3 years.

When I get a game I want to really try and finish it incl achievements, I just like to focus on one game at a time. But after reading all tips and advice here ill probably get RDR next year around april or may to get a feel for it before the release of rdr2. I say april/may cause currently im trying out JC3 and WD2 is next month, also rumors might suggest a map expansion for gta in the summer.

Fallout 4 doesnt seem my type of game with lack of vehicles and potential of screwing around n exploring(map seems not big?) Also I prefer people n not aliens or monsters etc

Sleeping D ive mentioned a few times now, left side driving n kung fu aint appealing to me. Allthough it seems a great/the best gta clone.

Mafia 3 has 2 issues imo, firstly WD2 seems better and I dont feel its worth full price atm. This may sound weird but I saw it doesnt have a fall action when getting hit by a car? Just a bloody screen? Idk but this was really dissapointing. Throwing bodys in alligator lakes got me excited on the other hand. But thats just me xD

Then, you should wait some time for Mafia III's price to drop, but before that i would like to recommend you Watch Dogs 1. It's not actually THAT bad like people say, even though Watch Dogs 2 will be everything WD 1 should have been.

RDR is a must tho.

JC3 is fun, but after playing it for 3 days I do find some downsides. Liberating towns is getting repetative

That's why JC3 got no votes :) I've not played it but I got bored with JC2 very quickly. You should've listened to us since you asked

Martial arts aren't my thing either - I never liked the system in Batman Arkham games for example - but I really did like it in SD eventually. One just needs to pick up the collectibles that unlock extra moves and upgrades. It really is a great and rich system.

Don't think of it as martial arts, think of it as breaking arms, beating people into a pulp and throwing knives and cleavers. It's cool, brutal and rewarding. Also there certainly are regular firearms and gun fights - it's only the beginning of the game where there are little to no guns, but later it's mostly about guns. Although you can still switch to hand-to-hand combat if you want to, and I often have.

As for the left-lane driving, it's really not an issue. You'll get used to it and it certainly won't confuse you. It only takes a short while to get used to, after which you'll be able to switch between games or games/IRL driving with no problem. The human brain is not that stupid, don't worry. I mean think of all the people in UK, Australia and HK that always have to drive on the wrong side in games

And besides, it's a game - if you want, just drive on the other side or in the middle. It's not like you'll be following traffic rules.

The only thing that needs more adjusting to is the arcade driving style. I normally wouldn't like it but fits the game and allows for some spectacular crashes and vehicle take downs.

I mean geez, just get it! It's a better game than GTA V as far as single player is concerned. And while it may seem like a clone, the similarities are just artificial. The atmosphere, story style and game mechanics are all quite different. And it should be less than 20 €, it's simply a no brainer.

As a side note, I'm still super confused about people recommending WD2. IT'S NOT OUT YET! Am I the only one who realizes this? Or was I in a coma for the last couple of months and WD2 came out in the meantime and was a huge hit?

fallout 4's map is huge and there are people and monsters as you call them. Granted there is no cars but depending on who you sad with you can passenger a helicopter. I have owned all the games you are looking expect wd2 and Rdr2 I can say for certainly fallout 4 is worth the money and if your on Xbox one there are mods for it.

Read Dead: Good story, gameplay, graphics

Just Cause 3: fun gameplay, okay story, good graphics

Sleeping Dogs: fun gameplay, good graphics, good story, however theres nothing to do after the story

Fallout 4: okay story, fun, interesting. Only suggested if you like post apocalyptic worlds

Mafia 3: great story, great gameplay, bad graphics, fun shooting mechanics and driving. However, nothing to do afterwards

The Division: Avoid it completely since its just a grind game with nothing to do

Watch Dogs 2: not out yet, i dont suggest pre ordering either.
