Can't Equip Night Vision Goggles or Rebreather

I bought the night-vision goggles (and rebreather) from Ammu-Nation

I hit the touch pad > Style > Accessories > Gear >

 

Hats, Gloves, Glasses etc are all changeable, but Night Vision Goggles and Rebreather are NOT there under the gear section

 

Yes I have bough them!

Yes when they are there I know how to activate them (Press Square over the item)

Yes I have started a new session & restarted game

 

Please Help

Unfortunately that's a confirmed bug from the biker update, there's nothing you Can do about till R* decides to fix it

Yes it must be a bug introduced by the bikers update as I've had trouble with using these gear items as well. Also when trying to use them it glitches out my haircut sometimes to make it look like a closer cut that it truly is.

There is a work around, it works for the Night Vision goggles I haven't tried it for the Rebreather (as I don't want to buy 20 Rebreathers at 5k a pop)!

 

Go back to Ammu-Nation

At the gear stand buy (if you haven't already) or wear the Night Vision goggles

While in this menu Save your outfit (name it etc) in one of your slots

On leaving the menu (or Ammu-Nation) apply your outfit from the Quick menu

The Night Vision goggles will appear and you can activate them in the usual way (touch pad > Style > Accessories > Night Vision Goggles>SQUARE (PS4))
