Simple high KD guide

1. Trust no one. Have two+ plans to kill anyone.

 

2. Always get revenge if possible, but know when you're beat. Dont take on more than 3 people unless you have the high ground.

 

3. Always use sticky bombs and proxies. Low on health? Run around the nearest corner, drop a proxy in a choke point, and turn the tables faster than you can say "buzzkill".

Tank? 5 stickies on the front of a stolen car and going off the radar will solve that everytime.

Kuruma griefer? Stand on top of a sticky, get out your grenade launcher, and detonate yourself if they try running you over.

 

4. Use the special carbine. The assault shotgun is good for missions and getting people out of armored vehicles, but it will lose everytime to a guy with full health using the SC.

 

5. IF YOU CAN LOCK ON, ONLY SHOOT FOR THE HEAD. This is unquestionably the most important thing. Headshots are absolutely necessary for winning.

 

6. RPG any enemy taking cover, or coming around a corner. This is the cheapest (skill wise) and most effective way to defend yourself. If the enemy has high ground, aim the minigun right at the edge of the corner, and spray until you can find a better position.

 

7. Assuming the enemy hasn't already started using explosives, always search for cover within lock on ranges.

 

8. End your roll the second your coming out from cover, or roll second. This will allow you to almost always get a headshot and avoid lock on.

 

9. Drive fast cars. If you are being attacked, simply drive away fast, slow down as if you crashed, throw a sticky bomb behind you, and let your enemy drive straight into it.

 

10. SNIPE. If you can see the enemy, you should be shooting at them. Always snipe in 1st person so you can quickly move be harder to hit

 

11. Always take high ground when possible. Already hinted towards earlier, but worth reiterating as a fundamental.

 

12. If you are spawning into a instant death, kill yourself until you are safe.

 

13. The insurgent. Enough said.

 

14. Don't be afraid to use the Hydra on that one guy. You know, that one squeeker? The one blasting music/talking about beating people up IRL over a video game? That f*cker deserves to be bullied out the game and you know it!

 

15. Have fun with it. Don't try too hard or waste all of your money or you'll get angry and play mediocre anyway.

 

Follow these steps and you are 100% guaranteed to get a higher KD

Play the game and get better over time. Mine's over 4 and I haven't done none of the things OP has posted, except for occasional sniping sessions. But without the 1st person wiggling bullsh*t.

 

There is no point what so ever in having a high KDR to be honest. All it does is get you kicked out of lobbies, from sessions and get reported.

My K/D ratio is about even.. Because i don't give a f*ck... Il eat 20 RPGs just to smash somones skull in with a baseball just once..

 

Also when playing with friends.. I tend to get killed alot doing stupid sh*t with them... And if K/D ratio mattered id be such a whiney prick about every single death. Its not like a H/D ratio matters... theres no prize. Only thing K/D ratios mean is you play ... like a bitch. And everytime i see someone with a high K ratio.., thats exactly what they do.

GTA O free roam is not competitive. Compeitition only matters in PVP crews in PVP game mods. Public GTA O free roam K/D ratio padding is a f*ckin joke.

 

And for the recod. I know full well how to play like a bitch.. if i need to.. Doesn't mean im gonna spend every single damn minute in GTA O free roam playing like K/D ratio matters. And then doing everything i can prevent myself from playing with some balls and having fun.

How is free mode not competitive? Sure, if you're that guy who kills people in clothing stores, it's not competitive. I find red dots and high ranking players, and start fights as soon as I enter for fun, or race, play TDM/LTS/Adversary.

The the only other good thing you mentioned is going off the radar and using the mugger- both of which are bitch moves..

Remember.. GTA O free roam is not competitive. Thats what PVP modes are for.. and real competition only matters if you make sure the lobby is filled with some decent players.

 

 

And really.. Muggers and mercs are great to deal with campers who barricade themselves up in holes with proximity mines and stickys.. Once that goes off COPS come.. and start f*ckin with campers.. Eventually you will either kill yourself or fight back. Either way.. thats when Off the radar comes into play too.. OTR is great to avoid Auto aim and RPG spammers..

No where did I say this guide was for free mode only... no where. I gave useful tips for free mode, but I was imagining the 1v1 map "run n gun" for this guide.

 

As far as getting that melee kill goes, good for you. I've been there done that, will do it again. There are guys with way higher KDs who don't, but I do f*ck around more often than not, which is why my KD is only what it is.

I don't worry about KDR. Since rank no longer means anything to me, I use KDR as a nice indicator that I'm improving in strategy.. I don't give a f*ck about what other people see for me in the lobby. It's for ME affirming my own abilities against others every once in a while when I decide to "try hard".

Assuming you already have a high KD, just do this|

 

If you don't have a hydra

Become CEO

Spam BST + Armor and use marksman + RPG + Mines

Occasionally spam Ghost org

Have lots of snacks and wear BP helmet

~Tip~

When going ghost, drive a NPC traffic car and throw a sticky at a enemy, or if they are battling someone, run them over until they die.

 

Or if you have a Hydra

Git gud at flying

Go off radar followed by Ghost org if another Hydra goes ghost/off radar

If you see them approaching either go passive or go ghost then EWO

Try to fly higher then your enemy and dive at them while spamming cannons

If another Hydra go passive, set a bounty on them then go passive yourself and invite another jet flying friend to get the first Jet to come out passive, if timed right, you should blow them out of the sky

~Tip~

If you are being shot at by a RPGer while in a Hydra, just call a mugger on them or call a friend in to distract/snipe at them.

 

And my final one is-

Get a few griefer friends about 3-5 in one lobby and constantly team up on people.

 

 

Yes I grief sometimes, but only when it's required or if someone really pisses me off ~Happens very rarely~
