Linerunner87
Hi, everybody! I've found out that, in the original San Andreas game, the veichles spawned in the only road of the Verdant Meadows area are not of the "desert" type (like it should be) but of the "residential average" one, that's obviously unrealistic (I modified the popcycle.dat file until I discovered it, lol). I've looked into the main.scm file to verify what kind of traffic is set for Verdant Meadows but.. I haven't found any declaration of the area with its traffic type! Does someone know how this "problem" can be solved?
eagle152
Opcode 0767 is responsible for the appropriate popcycle zone info. Its not used for the Verdant Meadows area, but you can easily add it like that 0767: set_zone 'MEAD' popcycle_group_for_peds_and_cars_to 1 1 is desert popcycle. OrionSR
It looks like residential average is the default setting for all zones until altered by main.scm during the intro missions. Verdant Meadows (MEAD) is not included in those adjustments.
Linerunner87
I've added that form in main.scm but it hasn't worked, nothing's changed. But thanks for your answers!
OrionSR
The Intro mission only runs during a new game start. It won't effect existing saves. The savegame editor can be used to alter your zone types on existing saves, or a simple cleo script could do the job. Linerunner87
It worked! Using a savegame editor I was able to change the type of traffic! I know it was only a minor glitch but now trips in the desert are much more enjoyable! Thank you very much! OrionSR
