Join Populated Freemode Sessions

Hello everyone, I am new to the forums.

 

I recall in GTA IV Online Mode, I was able to open up my phone and join a new Freemode session. I would frequently spam this option until I found a session that was nearly full and/or had people with voice chat and/or had people who weren't jerks constantly. It was the best way for me to meet players.

 

I no longer see any option like this in GTA Online, I connect to GTA Online and I am in Freemode all alone. I notice that if I play a job, and then vote to back out into Freemode, I will sometimes be thrown into a session with other players. However there seems to be no way for me to just go straight into a populated Freemode session.

 

Any tips or tricks on how to do this? Or is there any other easy way to jump into other people's Freemode sessions seeing as I have no friends?

Pause menu, online, find new session, repeat.

Go into pause menu and find the online option and click

Unfortunately no, it's purely luck at this point.

 

This update made connecting to populated public lobbies over 6 players into a pain in the ass, hell, the people over at the Xbone Zone can't stay connected to GTA Online without either their game crashing nonstop or being booted to SP.
