Quinn_flower
So I bought ps vr and me being curious wanted to see how I will take playing gta in vr. Well in first person you notice a lot of stuff u haven't seen before. Sure rapid movement is a woah let me adjust my eyes but vr would be great in gta. Would love head tracking in cars look behind you or side would be cool. Those who are on the fence it's a cool tech was saying omg for 30 mins because everything was leaping out at u like it's crazy. If u have the money for it go get it if not wait for a deal. I got the $400 one and just bought the camera only since I had one move Controler. Zader
How are you dealing with the tiny FOV? Playing across the room from that narrow of an angle makes me want to hurl, I cannot imagine it right in front of my eyes. dieseltech20

Large makes me want to throw up. fov seems fine for my eyes but it's rapid movement causes me to close my eyes a bit and readjust. Dacelo
I can barely play GTAV regularly in FPS with that constricted FoV, I think I would actually be violently sick if I tried it in VR. dieseltech20

I'm going to hell for that OT: I'm not going to be buy PSVR, I agree with Carimbo. I don't think GTA: O would suit VR. We already have FP, that is good enough. Coleco
VR has its applications but personally I think games have to be tailored to suit the tech, not the other way around. I've been fortunate enough to play games with an Oculus, PSVR and Vive so far and when the software is specifically designed around creating and interacting within a specific virtual space it can be fantastic (and for the record I have always been a VR skeptic - I remember the hype over Virtual Reality in the 90s ). It's a very different way to design games than those we're used to on 2D screens though, so I can imagine a lot of 'ports' will fall short of consumer expectations and the hefty price tags for the various VR kits will keep most people at bay - at least for the time being. I'm not opposed to trying GTA in VR to further inform my opinions but I found the first-person view in GTAV to be pretty shonky as it is... walking around a virtual 'living, breathing city' on the scale of Los Santos would really excite me but I'm a little reserved about how it'd feel when sprinting around with camera shake and engaging in loony-tunes combat with combat rolls, RPGs, fast cars and jets. My friend built a quite good VR tank game in 1990. He built the entire hardware of the custom computer from scratch + the 3d goggles and coded the game. Never yet met a guy more genius. Hunter
I don't have the money for VR yet, but it's good to know it was good Quinn - now get some boots with jeans in VR Now if it had head tracking, imagine flying a Savage with that. That could be great.
