Some of the original super cars are FAR cheaper than the latest ones, and still competitive against 2/3rds of the crashaholics racing late dlc metal. The Entity and Cheetah handle amazingly, and the Zentorno is still a worthwhile racer unless you're racing against the cream.

Good mention of the Cheetah there... it's strangely hated by many people, and I don't know why. And don't forget the Turismo R in that little group. Great and affordable.

Buzzard is one of the most essential items for any gta online player to own.

Cheetah is my favorite car.

The buzzard is very useful, especially when in a lot of the missions you can get it done faster/easier. However, if you don't already have a decent fast car, then I'd go with the car. You'll most definitely use the car more than the helicopter, but I'd go with the buzzard if you already have a good enough car to hold you over until you get enough money for the car.

Agreed. I've used the buzzard more than any other helicopter/plane

As good as super cars are (and I love my old school Entity XF and Zentorno--go ahead, send flames lol), a Buzzard will easily give you the greatest long-term return on your investment: contact missions, VIP/CEO work, collecting bounties, general evasion, fast access to high-rise buildings, etc.

...and it's far more flexible in terms of travel across the map, small footprint, good firepower, etc.; not to mention a whole lot of fun to fly. :) Buzzard FTW. Fly the not-so-friendly skies. ;)

One last thing--don't sweat it if you're not very good at flying when you start out; just keep at it (no matter how many times you crash) and you may well surprise yourself at what you can do as the months go by. Solo air races like "Heli River" and "Chopper Cruise" are great places to learn tricks/techniques and get the hang of flying without worrying about homing launchers or Lazers on your tail. :) (and earn some money while you do it). And if you're a CEO, Sightseer itself is a great way to practice landing and survival (nap-of-the-earth flying) in public sessions. :)

But a good, versatile super car AFTER the Buzzard is also a good idea. :) In the meantime, the Elegy RH8 is a pretty good gap-filler for being free; and you can now get some of your money back on whatever upgrades you add to it if/when you sell it.

Get a buzzard to farm vip work so you can get a garage full of supers. Also great for contact missions.

it depends for what.

1.7 mil....you could buy a competitive super with just half that money and have a chance to win races in the most raced class ingame

the buzzard...great for regular missions, sh*tty for anything else

also i assume you do not have your own buisnes yet or even 1 milion extra to become ceo, so a buzzard outside regular missions is not really handy....if you do, then it could be useful for ceo missions which still pay less then regular missions.

You don't necessarily have to be a CEO to benefit from the buzzard. You can be an associate and allow the CEO to summon a buzzard for free and call in your own buzzard from Pegasus. Also VIP work pays pretty well compared to missions, unless it's a double $ week for the mission. I mean 21k, or 16k for about 2-5 minutes of work work is pretty good; even with the 10 minute VIP work you at least get 25-30k and don't have to put up with the hassle of loading a mission, finding other players, going through the mission, loading again, and then loading back into free roam.

Plus races are always pretty competitive and there's always going to be a bunch of people out there that are better at racing than you are, in which case the time and pay are hardly worth it, unless you just honestly enjoy racing regardless of whether you win or lose.

^^ I use Pegasus as a backup for when my CEO Buzzard starts smoking. :) Comes in handy; I try to fly as close as I can to the nearest known Pegasus point, or look for "natural" Buzzard spawn points like the top of NOOSE HQ, various LSPD locations, etc. :)

Buzzard then buy a CEO setup, at that point you're never got to lack money again if you are prepared to grind.

Noted on playing sightseer with buzzard for practice. Thanks for the suggestion ! :)

Buzzard because:

Let's you solo almost any Contact Mission, and a lot of CEO/VIP work (Headhunter, Hostile Takeover, Sightseer) - saves money on ammo long-term too

You can call for it for free anywhere when you are a VIP/CEO, in addition to requesting via Pegasus - a huge timesaver and convenience for you, and for everyone in your organization who gets to use it because you own one

Supercar

Runs up a big insurance bill when you inevitably destroy it through reckless driving or being smashed by idiotic NPCs you could have avoided by flying instead.

Not as fast to get from A to B as using a chopper or aircraft

Buzzard can help you earn money back quickly for a super but a super cannot earn you back money as fast for a buzzard

I'd say buzzard.. again.. great for easy travel in freeroam as CEO.

It's faster then the roads and has missles..

If mission grinding is your primary goal then a Buzzard can unlock a whole new tier of speed and efficiency that no ground vehicle can match.

This.

that depends. if you´re already a CEO or a Biker and you run businesses , then get the buzzard first. If you really like supercars and you re into races then you can buy one.

I bought many supers before buying the buzzard, because i didn t have businesses at that time....but yeah, the buzzard is a must in some missions.....and since you want to grind in the first place, buy the buzzard...

Like a lot of people have said, Buzzard. When you're a VIP/CEO it normally costs 25K to request a Buzzard. If you own one it's free. It will technically pay for itself quite fast.

Although a weak argument could be made that you can sell your supercar, but the Buzzard is just better. My first super was the Voltic. At least it's cheap (150K), but not everyone likes the electric whine.
