It's a shame they haven't used the election between Jock Cranley and Sue Murry for some timely jokes.

Even if just to slip them radio ads into the stations or something subtle.

I too would enjoy new radio content. I would start to listen again. Doesn't have to be a change in music, mind you it would help seeing as its been the same songs for 3 years.

Screw radio additions, they should bring Joe and Josef online so we can have free roam missions for deporting illegals, alternatively if Hillary wins, we can have new hacking mini-games added where we delete emails.

Or what about a fun little mini game where we have to make a predator drone missile attack look like a self inflicted injury

Most but not all people who play GTA Online are kids/teenagers so i doubt they'll even notice or care.

I'm afraid you're more right than wrong, but it seems like they've got the perfect set up.

Also besides the fact that it's mostly kids, a lot of people who will get the jokes will probably end up getting pissed off because a joke made fun of either of the two, even if Rockstar were to make fun of both.

Still far more adults playing the game than kids, guys. Just a lot of grown men (with orange faces) behaving like them;)

Oh wow... choosing between Sue Murry and Jock Cranley. Ugh, how did it come to this?

Either way we're totally screwed

Wake up one day and GTA requires an update. Once launched online, your objective is to go to the city hall. Once you reach the city hall, you enter a yellow checkpoint which brings up a piece of paper with two names on it:

Jock Cranley.

Sue Murry.

Who you vote for will change the in-game world. After a week long of voting, the online community will declare a winner. If Jock Cranley wins, a wall will be built between the Vinewood sign and Sandy Shores and Sandy Shores will pay for it! You won't get stars for killing innocent people rather than your target. No crimes here. You'll also have the opportunity to buy and build new towers call Chump Towers. They're customizable but only come in the color gold. He'll get on the radio and TV and talk about wanting to sleep with his daughter. On the other hand, if Sue Murry wins balloons will drop from the sky randomly, she'll appear on the Jimmy Fallon parody show in-game and laugh along to Jimmy's laughter and once a week in-game any female character will receive a phone call from her husband, Bill Clinton Murry and be prompted to visit his office.

I don't know about this being a missed opportunity but more of an amazing TV show! Holy sh*t, call Hollywood right now.

Even though the outcome will effect everyone. regardless of my thoughts, I'm glad I live in Canada (even if Trevor is defensive) and not "Los Santos".

You'd be surprised how tuned in kids are these days, I encountered a 12 year old (IRL) the other day riffing off Donald Trump.

Not in a very clever way because he was 12 but still.

Yep. One candidate is given a little too much credit for something that's quite irrelevant. Another candidate is literally revered by many of their supporters, apparently some think they're actually a God, or a saviour sent down to Earth by him.

The fact that you can't have a reasonable discussion about it actually says as much about the candidates as it does about the voters.

Sad! Weak! Giggle.

Politics aside... new radio content would be welcomed by this guy. I've always liked what the radio personalities had to say over the music.

Maybe gta online+ will add that, I can hear it now "Scrotie McBoogerballs just robbed the Fleeca bank for the 4th time today, Fleeca really need to check demsevles doe cuz dem fools getting robbed all day naw wutamsayin .. *huehuehue* let's get back to the music ya'll!"

(Not only that it was a missed opportunity to let me play my own music on the ps3.. not as much on ps4 because I have no music on it but ps3 I had a sh*t ton of tunes and couldn't make my own playlists which sucked ass and still does.)

Edit: back on topic... good idea but i think it would require quite the efford to do.

And...again...though it would be kinda cool i would not turn my radio on much more because of it.

Also looking at the current state of the game, really think they have better thing they can do then this.

For me it wouldn't make a huge difference, the one thing that I've wanted since the start they still haven't bothered to do and probably never will.

The day that they separate the background music volume setting from the radio volume setting is the day that I'll be listening to the radio all day long again. I can't stand listening to some nice tunes but then being subjected to the awful and annoying/distracting BGM on foot, which even happens in free mode and not even only in missions. Blergh.

I never see anyone else bringing that up but at the same time I strongly doubt I'm the only GTA:O player who strongly dislikes the BGM tracks.

Also, for background music it's hardly in the background.

totally wrong.

about 70% of the player base are kids below the suggested age for this game.

Sounds like you're both making up numbers. Unless you actually know the exact amount of people playing GTA:O and you've at least HEARD (in your case) 70% sounding like children. And I strongly doubt that is the case.

Use Spotify or a usb stick to curate a soundtrack. I use the former and it's a well appreciated option.

Don't forget, as the Cranley wins, your Warehouses will turn into Companies, and your main mission is to bankrupt them. If Murry wins, you'll receive a new ability to hack and delete other player's messages.

I can't stop laughing...

Well in that case, the person I wouldn't want winning the election IRL is the one I'd want to see win in the game.

This is GTA after all. Chaos good. And that's coming from someone who prefers PvE action.
