Is there a mod that allows you to create a GTA Online character in SP?

If possible, I'd love it if it includes clothing stores with the online clothing as well. :)

Fast answer, please!

Menyoo works well for building the character.

Regarding money so shops (excluding clothing) work, we need the Cheat Engine script to be updated so when you play as the MP character, it thinks you are one of the protagonists.

Regarding the clothing shops, nothing yet. I sure hope that one day someone makes a SP Freemode mod so we don't have to use Menyoo/Cheat Engine, and a bunch of other mods.

Well, can you actually use the GTAO character editor?

If you want to use a Cheat Engine Table and if you have the Social Club version (1.0.877.1), you can use this (you will have to enter the model hashes manually):

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><CheatTable CheatEngineTableVersion="18">  <Forms/>  <CheatEntries>    <CheatEntry>      <ID>0</ID>      <Description>"Local Player Model Hash"</Description>      <LastState Value="0" Activated="0" RealAddress="0"/>      <Color>80000008</Color>      <VariableType>4 Bytes</VariableType>      <Address>GTA5.exe+2303788</Address>      <Offsets>        <Offset>18</Offset>        <Offset>20</Offset>        <Offset>8</Offset>      </Offsets>    </CheatEntry>  </CheatEntries>  <UserdefinedSymbols/></CheatTable>

The address can be found using this pattern if your game isn't on 1.0.877.1 or if you have the Steam version:

48 8B 05 ?? ?? ?? ?? 48 8B 40 08 C3 // mov rax, cs:qword_142303788 (SC version, 1.0.877.1)

If you want to make a script (C++) that doesn't need ScriptHookV, here's the code:

typedef __int64(*GetLocalPlayerAddress_t)();GetLocalPlayerAddress_t GetLocalPlayerAddress = (GetLocalPlayerAddress_t)Pattern::Scan("48 8B 05 ?? ?? ?? ?? 48 8B 40 08 C3");// usageuintptr_t modelInfo = *reinterpret_cast<uintptr_t*>(GetLocalPlayerAddress() + 0x20);*reinterpret_cast<uint32_t*>(modelInfo + 0x18) = modelHash;

Or if you don't know how to make a script, you can use my .asi script. Allows custom input, choosing the model from a model list and has presets.

This script will also work on any game version, meaning that you won't need to update it but ScriptHookV is required.

You can download the script here. (link edited; I decided to upload it on 5Mods)

Why don't you upload that somewhere people can easily find it? https://www.gta5-mods.com/

Why don't you upload that somewhere people can easily find it? https://www.gta5-mods.com/

Because this was originally intended to be private and people would say I copied BrownRecluse.

If more than a few people want me to upload this to GTA5-Mods.com, I'll do it. But as long as this isn't the case, I really don't see a reason to do so.

Fair enough. I had to look him up. Didn't know Character Swap even existed lol.

I don't run a .net hook, so his version of Character Swap is 100% useless to me. And as of the mpbikers update, it looks like its pretty useless for lots of others as well. I wonder if/when he'll update it.

I just saw your post now. Your mod works just as well as the Cheat Engine that I had on the last patch. Thank you very much, and lets hope that it isn't going to need updating when the next update comes in what I am guessing will be December.

As far as uploading it, I honestly believe that it is very silly playing the story as your Online character. By that I mean doing missions while using your Online character in place of the story character. Instead, you could release it and add a tad of creativity. So, you could make the script simulate having a 4th character. It is kinda what I do anyways using Menyoo as I teleport to my custom characters apartment, then change my model when I wanna play as him. So, you can advance the script a wee bit to simulate this, as well as shake out a few bugs.

-Add character saves. This stores money, weapons, and attachments. It also saves things like whether the character is a male or female, and all of the component data. The save also contains the character's cords which can be updated. Finally, the save also contains a flag which determines the SP character's slot you are using.

-When loading a character save, the game will teleport you to the cords of that characters home (what ever you saved their cords as in the file), switches you to them. It also will store your SP characters weapons, attachments, components, money, and cords in RAM so you can switch back to them and they still have all of their stuff.

-When you are playing as a custom color, the hud color for selections in the weapon/radio wheel, pause menu sliders, and pause menu selected tab will change to Freemode_Blue like it does in GTA Online. Or if you want to enhance this, you can make the characters hud color be saved in the ini. When you switch back to one of the protagonists, the game scripts will automatically update the hud color to their hud color. This way, it will feel like everyone has their own unique hud color, like how Rockstar designed it.

As far as ways to fix bugs that occur with the hash swapping.

-The idle clip sets should be automatically changed back to what ever character model you are actually playing as. When you do the hash swap, the game changes them, and then the animations don't quite transition together very well.

-When switching, it will need to rapidly switch between the SP character models. This is so money will properly add and subtract. So if you are Michael, and are using his hash while playing as the Freemode Male, I found that you need to switch to the Freemode Male, then switch to Franklin or Trevor, then switch to Michael, and finally switch to the Freemode Male.

-When parachuting, the game uses the component id's for the character it thinks you are playing as. So to fix this, you would need to detect when the player is in free fall. When they are in free fall, switch the hashes back to the default. That way they will have the right parachute component. When they land, switch it back to the SP characters hash. This work around should work fantastically. It isn't like the player is going to be doing anything that they can't do with the default hashes while they are parachuting. They would only notice if they go in their phone or open their interaction menu, or pause the game while doing so, but it will make no difference, other than the components being correct.

Edit: Another idea if you were to make this is to add a function that other mods can call. Basically, it tells the other script who you are actually playing as. That way other mods can be updated so they will still treat you like you are who you actually are. When I use this, I have to switch all of the custom character apartments to one of the SP characters in SP Apartment.

The character swap does not work anymore?

Anyway, the ability to change to a MP character is hold: it gives a lot more options to change clothes, accessories etc.

Sorry for giving this the bump of a century, but is it possible to swap ped or single player character clothing models with online characters, having the mp character wear sp hats and pants and stuff? I know the EUP Team did, I'm just tryna figure out how :/

I don't think it's possible without manually editing it to be available for the model (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).
