It's in the game, we just can't get to it haha. The map quite clearly shows that the terrain of Mexico is there.

I still cannot understand why the map leaks cant be shown here in a map spoiler topic... I get when it comes from the guide but now its from the actual game. I would really like to see side by sides and overlays from all of the mapping done in this thread over the last couple of years.

It’s just a theory - but the details we have seen with screenshots, Nuevo Paraiso outfit and that huge mass of land - what would realistically stop us from going there

Yeah, but thinking that if you flip the page and suddenly there is a map of Mexico is a bit far-fetched.

 

Because Rockstar Games have restricted themselves to the US alone, they can write that title on the map.  In the same way they got around in RDR1 by writing 'Western Border States', since Mexico is technically also a bunch of states.

Yep, Mexico is 100% not a playable landmass from what we've seen. On the reverse of the page is the close ups of settlements, towns.

1. The second leaked map - it is map from standard edition ???? It seems like that. Normal map.

Why do you need Mexico?  We're getting new territories as well as New Austin, there will be enough space to play and sightseeing. R* made diverse map with forests, mountains, swamps and deserts. And each would feel differently. 

Just go play AC Origins. That map is like 4-5 times bigger that RDR2, but Jesus it's empty and copy-paste

I was actually thinking about this, the last few pages have been all about RDR1's map and not the new part lol

No, I pre-ordered the special edition  of the game mainly for the map

 

Edit: GTA V Special Edition came with a cloth map. Judging by the ad I hoped RDR2 would do the same hence why I preordered it. Hope you can understand me now
