Using Shooting Sprees to Deal With Rage

Femme Fatale

Hello darlings! The title says it all, and if you want, you can share your stories on what triggered your rage...And yet idiots like Thompson still blame violent games, and special idiots blame liking serial killers for violent youth :sigh:...First of all, nobody's killing anyone(in real life)...Secondly, even if I do, it won't be because of violent games, but rather because of my hatred for society...And those two things I mentioned are good examples of why I f*cking despise society so much...Dumb c*nts who like to blame violent games or movies for school shoothings, and close minded pussies who have a problem with people who are attracted to serial killers or cute dead guys...Seriously, every time I bump into a dude(especially a straight dude) who thinks that's creepy, I think to myself: "Ha! My fag hags have bigger balls than your pathetic ass!" And it's true they know I'm into that stuff, and instead of finding it creepy, they find it amusing and even joke about it...Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah! I haven't gone on a rage spree in a pretty long time, nothing has made me violently angry lately...It usually happened during my Middle School days, and during my MotelGuy days...I've learned to be calm, cool, and collective :inlove:...What about you guys?

Yeah, when I have a bad day I just shootup a hospital, then I put in GTA 4 and do the same.

I've never found GTAs to be all that great for anger management due to clunky controls and awkward character movement, which is true for every instalment.

Now Quake III Arena, that's a real stress reliever. Breakneck speed, airborne acrobacy, gore and gibs flying everywhere if you hit someone with a rocket launcher and if you die, you're instantly back.

I still remember the first time when I got pretty close to beating Q3DM17 on nightmare difficulty (internet wasn't readily available back then so I was often in single player). That was the night before my school graduation exam, I was stressed out immensely and this was perfect.

In GTA you can... Make someone fly. And if you die, you respawn after a long loading screen on the other side of the map and need to start again. Meh. If anything, that gets me into more rage :)

Quite a few GTA missions make me angry, particularly those involving racing and checkpoints, as does unexpected failing of a rampage run (such as Vigilante). I consider death or busting a game over, reload, and feel like I've wasted a lot of time. Also I'm bound to come across black humour on the radio that I can somehow relate to, and that can make feel depressed, because if I happen not to feel confident, then I am also more likely to think that they are ridiculing myself personally. So I don't think this game is something I would turn to during times of distress.

I do recall myself busting up police cars and ambulances for no reason in response to failing a mission (where I do not expect to survive afterwards), after a random pedestrian ran me over, or my car disappeared. But those events are also in the game universe.

It's very satisfying to kill V's peds cause they are annoying c*nts

I don't use GTA sprees to either calm real-life frustration, or let it influence me negatively. I honestly don't see either argument - GTA rampages are just fun ways of wreaking virtual havoc.

Thats why I live in Del Perro, so I can go give them a poke in the ribs with my Knife, Hahahaha

Sometimes I just come across a NPC that looks like someone I knew and I just spend a few minutes repeatedly bashing their head with a baseball bat.

close minded pussies who have a problem with people who are attracted to serial killers or cute dead guys...

These people are so cute, they don't understand why we are fascinated (in your case attracted to serial killers) you learn alot when obsessed with Serial Killers and crime in general, apparently we are better conversationalists I know Im great in social situations and tend to be flexible. I guess I don't feel angry by these close minded pussies but wonder what they may be thinking of, what they are afraid of or creeped out by.

I commonly do that, but only in GTA4. I don't feel the same when I do it on the older GTA's.

The Rockstar Gamer 108

The missions like NOE, Party's Over etc are too difficult.

I really dislike the movements in GTA 3.

The games like GTA 3 & 4 contain very less number of weapons.
