Prasdana21
I'll post a bit of Luis' and J. Cole's early life a bit. Jermaine Lamarr Cole was born on January 28, 1985 at an United States Army base in Frankfurt, West Germany. His father is an African-American former soldier for the U.S. Army, and his mother is a white German who worked as a postal worker for the United States Postal Service. Cole's father would later abandon the family during his youth, prompting his mother to relocate Cole and his brother to Fayetteville, North Carolina. Upon graduating high school, Cole decided that his chances of securing a recording contract would be heightened in New York City. Source: Wikipedia.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Cole Luis is of Dominican descent and was raised on Frankfort Avenue of Northwood in Algonquin. His mother is Adriana Yanira Lopez, his brother Ernesto Lopez and his sister Leta Lopez-Wilkinson. His father was a U.S. Marine who abandoned them while they were young. He was raised by his mother, who also had a notable role in the upbringing of Luis' childhood (and current) best friends, Armando Torres and Henrique Bardas. During a drug war, Henrique mentions that Luis used to rap while Henrique "laid down" the beat. Henrique claims that Luis was a poor rapper because people used to laugh at him when he would rap. http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Luis_Fernando_Lopez In your opinion is this pure coincidences? J. Cole is also a rapper while Luis used to rap. I'll also post 2 pics of J. Cole wearing the same jacket like Luis does. J. Cole: So, what do you think? Is Luis based on J. Cole? With Luis being a former rapper, both Luis and J. Cole's similar early life, and Cole wearing the same jacket like Luis does, is Luis based on J. Cole or just a pure coincidences? They also have similar faces if you ask me. Edited October 20, 2016 by Prasdana21 ROCKSTAR MANIC and The Rockstar Gamer 108
RogerWho
Yea it's a large coincidence, especially that jacket Really, neither of those factoids is all that unique. Father abandonment is almost a go-to backstory for both rappers and gangsters, and people switching careers between these 2 is also not uncommon. Cole does look rather similar to Luis on the photos you posted, but it's not exactly a super-distinctive look I think. And on other photos I found the similarity is much smaller. Nice find still. Zello
Could just be a coincidence but then again you never know maybe R* were fans of his early mixtapes that he released in 2007 Edited October 20, 2016 by Zello
DERGaming
They could of had plans for Luis to be like him but as they were editing him they probably forgot that they were trying to create him but early things like him still exist that is most likely what happened
A Munna
I don't even think J Cole was famous back in 2009.
