Heavy Sniper Bugged?

From sniping on Maze Bank at distances my heavy sniper is doing NO damage at all! I've shot someone 5 times before and their health bar is still full. It's happened to me 3 times now.

Yes, it's extremely out of whack after this sh*tty biker update. I've been killed by it in 1 shot, even tho I am rank 291, full health, body armor, BP helmet. I've also survived multiple hits from it.

 

While sniping, I've killed people with one shot, and other times, specifically during privacy prevention on my yacht, I snipe people on the beach, including headshots, over and over, and it does ZERO damage. This update has ruined so many things (mask glitch, hit registration, servers, ect)

It's a bug that came in with the bikers update. It makes sniping from a distance useless but you can still snipe people from maybe a block or two away. I think there was a thread on this.

I thought it was just me at first. When the bikers DLC came out I was sniping one of my friends. Had to hit him 5 times before he dropped. We weren't even that far apart too. Not sure exactly what's wrong but something is definitely up.

I'm on PC, and at a very specific distance the heavy sniper will do no damage.

That'd explain landing two shots on someone with the Heavy Sniper, when he ended up killing me with a Marksman Rifle while we were shooting each other. I was just past the gates of the Vespucci Beach police station, and he came out from behind a wall near the bridge down the road from it, towards the beach.

Had same problem tonight, was on my CEO building and hit someone in a car 3 times with the heavy and their health didn't budge.

This will go down as easily the worst update in this games history. They fixed NOTHING and broke so many things, including servers. I hate this update and what it's done to this game. f*ck ROCKSTAR AND f*ck ALL THESE SONS OF ANARCHY

Heavy Sniper has been nerfed several times already.. Definitely a bug, it's gotta be. If this is what sniping has turned into, I have little to no reason to PvP anymore as the Heavy Sniper has the majority of my PvP kills.

 

Does anyone have before and after statistics for guns? *Looks at PC users*

Would be a pretty stupid nerf if you can see your enemy but can't kill him despite the scope showing that you just hit your target.

 

The distance you sometimes can't kill is ridiculous. One street block..

This is why I don't believe in using guns, and use the Cargobob a my weapon instead... at least until yet another update comes out that makes it randomly drop its payload for no reason.

Yup same issue, 3 heavy sniper shots on a Savage pilot and nothing, at least I destroyed the heli without much problem lol. Definitely a RIP to the Heavy Sniper.

Eh, i think the marksman is fine where its at. And i have had this bug happen to me a couple times since the update. I figured it was lag on the other persons end or something, good to know its not just me getting it.

Definitely something going on and I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed. Four of us were shooting at a fifth friend while messing around in Piracy and we all at least put a clip in to him without him losing health.
