So some guy told me on steam that i only need ps3 linked to social network in order to get veteran items,but i read somewhere alse that i need both game and console.So which is true?

I believe it is all registered on the Social Club, therefore only owning a PS3 or XBOX 360 version of the game should work. You don't need to own the console. Like many do, go to a friends who has a LG console with GTAV, load it up, log in and done.

Ya i did some more checking around all i need is to finish prologue both with trevor/lester/micheal and franklin.But now problem is i don't have any friend with ps3 or xbox everyone here are Master Elites lol.So my only option is to find some rental place to rent ps3 and gta 5,make fan psn account link it to social and be done with it.
