They were designed exactly perfectly. The idea is that you spend time getting blown up and or raided by cops. This is time spent where you weren't making money. The next dlc will be level locked to 120? 130? Re: "High level, high risk" (and the instant lvl 120 character 2 means a lot of people will be forced to buy the stuff from this dlc on a empty but lvl 120 char 2($$$$$CA CHING Rockstar$$$$$) and be the most expensive thing you've ever seen. Perfect design.

Tip the balance in your favor. Have a full MC with 5 jets on your team in the air. All problems solved.

That doesn't solve anything - the game's ruined for someone else who has to put up with 5 jets going around killing everyone.

 

And I'm a lone wolf, so no anyway.

 

I don't even need to do any of the work or put up with any of it - I have enough money I can just rest easy. I can also beat most players who come after me.

 

Fact is, people aren't complaining because of petty sh*t; they're complaining because it fundamentally isn't balanced well right now.

 

That said, buff, not nerf. Add more radar features, weapons, etc.

I'm pretty sure op knew what he was doing starting this thread and frankly I'm surprised this isn't locked yet like so many others before it. 2 last night that was complaining about jets and everyone told him where to go.

Is it ideal to have 5 jets employed absolutely not. Obviously.

I never said things are perfect. The fact that it takes 5 jets to make these missions viable shows they clearly aren't (and even then, I personally wouldn't be stopped by those 5 jets. Off radar, go for the slow, weak van or whatever - job done).

 

My policy is to buff, and not to nerf. But that doesn't mean things are good now. They're not at all.

Stop the paranoid defensiveness and general B&M guys...

 

There's nothing essentially wrong with GTA online, otherwise I wouldn't still be playing it. The MC businesses are just another way of making money in freemode, and you're not going to earn more money (on average) doing this than any other money-making mode. I'm not sure why we all thought MC work was going to be a big money-spinner? Rockstar are rather clever like that.

 

And remember the game is over three years old now, and tomorrow we get the trailer for Rockstar's new venture... RD2. So I'm not sure why so much B&M when this game is no longer Rockstar's most current project? So accept it... bugs and all are here to stay, and just be thankful for all the new features we get.

Rockstar CLEARLY shows to most effective way to do ceo work...

*Public session*

*Exits office in helicopter (-1000/2000 ?)*

*Exits office, jumps, dies*

*Use cars to collect crates(*armored kuruma*)*

*Calls ceo chopper (5000 , I think)*

*Call merryweather helicopter*

*Just sits in office, doing nothing*

*Could see that rpg and stickie coming, but takes no action*

*Drives to 'drop zone', tries to lock on the valkyre (?) for a long period*

The game is perfectly balanced for R*. R* has designed everything to turn gta in a cod clusterfck. R* is pushing the pvp concept to make earning money as frustrating as possible.

 

If you fail to make a decent online living, players will buy those pesky shark cards.

 

Last sunday I got raided 3 times by the police in a row. Each raid takes 10-15 minutes to clean up. There is no reward at all to clean up a raid. All that time you can not earn money.

 

If players would work together, there would be no reason to buy shark cards at all.

 

There is always a griefer doing R* dirty work. I had several former friends turn on me immediately as they appeared in the same lobby. I immediately kicked those blue falcons off my friends list.

Inconvenience and intentionally annoying gameplay is NOT a challenge, biker contract could've been implemented the exact same way as VIP missions via interaction menu, but Rockstar wants to artificially extend playtime without adding anything of value to such long journeys.

 

Also, you ain't happy if we rightfully criticize anything that is actually bad in this game, most of the complaints registered in this thread are legitimate and honest, stop being obnoxious about your fanboyism for once, man.

- Xbone connections are sh*t after latest hotfix

- PV Engine upgrade loss bug due to exiting a garage

- Massive frame rate tanking

- Imbalance is still toxic to the community

- Intentionally irritating gameplay to label as "challenge"

- risk is too high for bikers and CEOs, griefing is basically encouraged

- overpricing vehicles and services gradually for no real reason

- artificial difficulty turned up to 11

- traffic AI grows more incompetent after every update to knock off more people off bikes and slow them down

- invisible outfits still on the loose, yet the helmet/mask glitch is patched despite being very innocent

- so on and so on

 

But yeah, this game is the most perfect masterpiece in the history of gaming and anyone who says otherwise is a LIAR and full of BALONEY!!!1!

Why are you still playing the game? I don't get it. Give the game a rest for a few weeks, and get some perspective.

 

In answer to your first complaint: I don't have any issues on XBox One at the moment. Yes, there were some issues last week, but this week has been fine and I'm in populated lobbies all the time.

 

Even though I don't agree with most of your collective points and see this thread as an unnecessary and extended B&M, I do have some of my own grievances, especially the imbalance of jets. What type of giant bum crevice at Rockstar decided to give us an infinitely replaceable harrier jump jet for $200 chump change? I have had hours of fun skirmishing against another group of players, and then someone decides to get his jet and it's game over. Everyone scatters... and that's it. Bad move, Rockstar.
