rockstar balanced biker work very poorly

so i was in io with 1 friend doing all 11 missions or so. they all have zero opposition, after you steal the vehicles and seem really boring. they appear to be designed to have other players as the main threat, but then they're impossible given other players just need to hit a sh*tty van with a single explosive.

 

the supply missions seem the same, with no opposition, except for when a hydra decides to cough and wipe out your entire mc

hydra, lazer, armoured kuruma, homing launcher and marksman rifle were the worst things added to gta5 online.

Agreed, they should somehow reduce the amount of time you're on radar or something. Maybe have you flash in and out, or only appear when you're near.

Also, make them stronger like the CEO cargo vehicles. Those can take multiple explosions.

I want the Post OP vans removed from the possible choices of delivery vehicles, I'd take a stock bagger any day over that sh*t.

I wish we had the resources at the disposal of the NPCs who hijack our CEO crate collections - multiple false tracker blips or Trackify-only locators.

 

Also why the c*ck are we placing trackers in our own shipments when their only purpose is to help other people destroy them? It seems like a pretty big flaw in our business model.

That seems like laziness(by Rockstar) than anything else. I'm pretty sure most players would prefer mission oriented gameplay involving biker gangs than these poorly balanced and designed freeroam missions.

I agree. If they would have made the radar function more traditional, it would have been a hell of an experience. All they have to do is set the radar to only ping your blip when you are within the radius of another player. In my opinion, this game would be so much more enjoyable.

It would stop people just joing a lobby and just deciding to kill someone just because.

 

Although I think that on top of that idea that mental state should effect the radius of when you appear on the map, that way people can avoid red people because they will see them on the map first, or they can choose to continue going near them and show up on their map.

 

And of course, you can decide whether or not your friends/crew/org etc. can see you on the map all the time, sort of like voice chat in interaction menu.

when the ceo crates were released, R* tried to do a live stream from a open public lobby and they failed miserably...

 

they resorted to create a private-public session, so they could do the ceo jobs without being interrupted like the rest of us mortals do.

It's obvious by some of the content released in the last year that SOMEBODY at R* reads these forums (or the wishlists at least: Manchez, "Benny's style" Faggio was a meme here going back a year, Yachts) so hopefully they see these threads about the balance of the game.. doubtful they'll ever truly balance it, but hey...

Exactly; better to cure the illness (horrible balance problems), than to just hide the symptoms (angry gamers).

I still don't get why we're limited to carry one item of business supplies, or even one crate in CEO, nobody wants to join you because an associate's payout is sh*t compared to working as CEO/President, thus effectively reduces the idea of working with money-tight friends and any random.

 

We need to be able to carry up to 3 items/crates, if we can do it in most captures then we certainly can in freemode, but alas Rockstar never fixes any inconvenience that poison the already implemented gamemodes unless if it has easy-to-fix bugs.

Tip the balance in your favor. Have a full MC with 5 jets on your team in the air. All problems solved. Oh wait no, players would then proceed to complain about all the driving involved. Players will always find something to complain about. Like connection issues for example.

 

In all fairness I do agree this game can be unbalanced at times and I do agree with what many here have said. It's a broken record is all. Same complaints over and over.. "I can't play alone" "jets" "always empty sessions" "prices" among other things like "ugly cars" and more.

^^ True; but the key with R*, is that, instead of asking "how can we make GTA Online better for the sake of game play", it's "what content will generate more revenue"?

 

We all know that, but it helps to remind ourselves of the key difference in vision between players and owner(s).

That doesn't solve anything - the game's ruined for someone else who has to put up with 5 jets going around killing everyone.

 

And I'm a lone wolf, so no anyway.

 

I don't even need to do any of the work or put up with any of it - I have enough money I can just rest easy. I can also beat most players who come after me.

 

Fact is, people aren't complaining because of petty sh*t; they're complaining because it fundamentally isn't balanced well right now.

 

That said, buff, not nerf. Add more radar features, weapons, etc.

R* knows this. They know its poorly balanced. That's why they don't bother doing freemode during their LIVE stream events anymore. When they first did the LIVE stream freemode to show off CEO DLC one of the producers, AKA Klang, was about to rage quit. She was getting blown up every step she took.
