cocaine factory... I'm doing it solo for now, these resupply missions are really becoming a grind... don't seem to making a lot of product for the amount of time I'm putting into supply runs... I have the staff upgrade, can't afford the other one yet, does it make a significant difference?

and the title of my post.. is it worth it?.. gettin sick of driving vans from one end of the city to another lol, some of them aren't too bad, at least with a buzzard.. but holy sh*t, the ones where you have to drive a vehicle back take f*cking forever!

As someone who just sells whenever the Product bar reaches 1 tick(Because I hate doing multiple deliveries with multiple vehicles.), I would say no. But if you're trying to get all the Product bars filled before selling, then perhaps it could be a good idea. But if you're really trying to make some good money, I would not buy any supplies.

If you have friends willing to help [or a heist crew who doesn't mind taking a 15 min break from pac stand] buying can actually be better. Buy supplies, run heists, do races, teabag noobs, whatever your crew is into, then come back hours later and sell all stock. In that case buying can be better because the price is offset by you having fun and making money.

If you lone wolf everything, then steal it. Chances are you're out of solo contracts to do anyways and need to burn a little time until that first bar is full.

I personally steal them because it's more interesting gameplay wise, but then again, I don't do this stuff for money anyways.

@OP. personally it isn't worth it. If you can spend the time then steal it, but if you are in a bind, such as a packed lobby, and have the money, then it can get you out of a hole.

I run 3 businesses right now and I buy all supplies. I have Coke, Meth and Cash. Visit the first and resupply for $75k then immediately sell the stock which as a far away sale will get you between $142-210k plus the bonus for time if doing boats and bonus for high demand. I do this in order. Each sell mission takes about 20 mins including returning to the next business. 1 hr of selling and then I do CEO stuff until the first one is ready and then I start that process again. $225 cost plus the daily fee of about $20k depending on timing as you only get charged when they are fully working it seems. doubles my money and means I can do other stuff. I only visit each place once buy supplies first then immediately sell. When you have finished the 3rd sell mission quit MC so you avoid raids. Next time you log in will be when you are in front of the computer about to but supplies for the next run about 1.5hrs later. Its always 2 vehicles and I quit if I get the slow ass vans. f*ck that.

I like the variety of a couple new missions but after fully resupplying three businesses, I don't enjoy it too much on my own anymore. But it's easy to do when there's noone around and I need to earn my investment back.

Common sense, if you can steal it and make a 100% profit, why would you buy???It's not really time consuming, get a helicopter and fly out, maybe have to drive back sometimes but W/e... I run coke and meth with the occasional weed run all 3 with everything upgraded and the upgrades make a big diff in the time product is pushed out.. It's quicker... I do solo runs, The big Coke run for 600k+ is what I do with a few mins to spare once complete, but I make sure I have a full supply waiting to kick the coke plant back into production soon as I get done delivering, so it's a repeat cycle, while the coke plant is getting ready I go deliver the meth lab, then I'll sell w/e product I have for weed just for a filler while coke and meth load up... rinse and repeat..

Stealing them has a "payout" for about 3-4k/min, which is actually quite good but can also be gotten by other missions. The sell mission has a payout of arround 7-10k /min if you deliver all (for coke, it goes down for others). So if you take a hydra/helicopter for the long ways, hurry up and get not disturbed, the missions are a money machine. If you are so bored of it, just buy and play double cash advestary mode, do heist or ceo. You are able to earn the money for the supplies in the time you would otherwise spend it to steel it.

It all depends on what else do you do with your time. If you can earn $75k quicker than you can steal 5 bars, or you value free time to do whatever you want, then buying is better. When I'm grinding VIP missions I can easily earn over $75k in 30 minutes. I haven't been able to steal 5 bars that quick solo. So for me it is better to buy.

A random showing up at wrong time ruined one mission but there is no money loss on failed supply mission vs failed sell mission. I have been taking this in small steps to fine tune strategy.

 

I will try what a prior poster does who owns multiple mc biz in buying supplies upfront. I will only try sell in low pop or solo lobby however. Stealing supplies gives u free stuff but takes time. Don't think will work w multiple businesses bc going nuts doing supplies runs.

 

Ok I resupply Coke biz for $75k what is total payout on sale options? Is the $390 k personnel enhancement worth doing?

I've always had ALL upgrades, never known anyone not to recommend the staff and equipment. Security is something I would advise to get when you''ve had enough of defending the

business from attacks.

 

Coke sells for 420k max. If you buy supplies for coke, it will cost you a third of what you sell it for (so supplies to fill a 420k warehouse will cost 150k).

 

Don't steal supplies! You can spend the time it takes to steal them doing CEO crates or Headhunter and Point to Point and make the money back (plus more) that way. PLUS: If you buy supplies, they can easily glitch themselves and give you unlimited supplies.

Not that I can see. It seems like I am getting ripped - cost of supplies greater than finished product. Been trying figure real GM.

 

Really hacks me off - I had spent $1.7 M all 3 upgrades (these are outrageously expensive) and c no improvement. Perhaps give it more time.

 

Business is profitable if u steal supplies as all sales pure profit but hefty infrastructure cost - if there was a way to block his calls!

 

Was considering buying another mc biz but heck no!

 

Stealing supplies a tough grind and requires low pop lobby. What can't they give passive business options without the pvp crap and then getting phone calls from some autumoton.

 

Resupply mission causing havoc at police station can be tough but Kuruna makes it fun. Experience with it makes it less daunting. Hate long ride back on slow bagged bike.

I like your strategy but it seems margins real thin on just buying all the time. All it takes is one disasterous sales mission ruin that. I have done a combo strategy.

 

I Do it solo. I will get in an "optimal" session for the business Like selling in 2 (of 5bar) increments. 56k Blaine county 84k LS. Usually run 2 resupply runs vs 1 sales run (these easily take game day) - objective sales pure profit. Sell stolen car every game day too. Unsure if could do solo if full 5 bar product.

 

Downer is staying up late bc alone in public session able execute this. Joining crew members in "optimal" session helps. Sometimes these sessions fill w randoms so have find another one sometimes not and its just me and a couple crew members.

 

It seems like ballers hard to find and stock after the import update. I will usually do store robbery, playlist jobs, then sell car like in non mc biz session. VIP work also pays well.

I personally buy the supplies in order to keep it running since you are gonna be doing missions, races, deathmatches, etc for the time being and you get the money you spent on it back so I don't really see the reason not to unless your bored in freemode and you wanna do something.
