Does the garage glitch only affect cars being driven out of the garage or does it also affect cars being driven in?

I've yet to test to see whether or not this has been fixed (probably not), but I've driven in a few cars to the new garage, and they don't seem to be affected from what I can tell.

 

So, yes, just don't pull out.

* It's indeed applied but won't perform like it is. You can fix this by requesting it via mechanic/interaction menu/assistant(?)..

Sh*t, I drove a few cars out earlier.

 

10 car garage only right?

All my garages (aside from the one near the bikes in Pac standard) are 10 car garages. Double sh*t.

You're alright. Just don't switch to stock then back to max engine, just wasting money. Request it from the phone/interaction menu or the assistant if CEO is your main thing. A hotfix would be great but every day, seems more unlikely until the next patch which is god knows how long from now.

The glitch just disables the ECU engine upgrades, I.E. they are still applied to your cars, they just don't function, there are a few ways to avoid/fix this in the mean time.

 

1: Order the car through the Mechanic/ Assistant/ Interaction menu, the car will not be affected by the bug at that point.

 

2: Drive the car into any mod shop, and leave, IIRC you DO NOT have to remove the Engine mod/ change anything, in and out is all you have to do.

 

3: Live with it for now, the bug affects all vehicles differently, some cars will have a marginal performance decrease, but others (Banshee 900R, Sultan RS, Seven-70 etc...) will be noticeably more affected.

 

And yes, the bug does affect all types of garages and biker clubhouses.

 

Also, AFAIK the bug does not affect cars in races.

Did you drive the Hakuchou out of a garage before you entered the race? If so, that would suggest that the bug carries over into races if you had done so previously. Most of the cars that I use in races are not what I usually drive out in free roam, and they have not been driving differently for me. I could check this real quick by running a race on a car I drove out, the doing the same race later with one I called in.

Yeah, it was shortly after I bought it; I customised it, drove it out of the garage, and then tried it in some races.

Oh, so my bikes are okay then. They're the only things I've driven out. And I summoned both Batis and the Nightblade when dealing with jet cowards.

I ran some quick tests, I only had time to do six races with the Sultan RS, here's what I got.

 

Platform: PS4

 

Car: Sultan RS

 

Race: In the Grove

 

Times: Bugged Sultan and Non-Bugged Sultan respectively, I have chosen to link the photos as I am having problems uploading them.
