I love GTA, but i'm tired of Hackers.

Last hacker i saw was about 3 months ago, giving the whole lobby money, there was a massive ban wave a few months ago before bikers that added new anti cheat methods to detect previously undetectable hacks.

 

The hackers i ran into on PC though were great, flying buses, forklift races down Vinewood hills, holding off the train with miniguns that fire cars, money, superfast cars and Hyper speed tanks.

But never did i encountered one that was a dick, or one who blew the whole lobby up, or drained anything from me, they were all funny down to earth people who made that time in GTA one of the best.

While hackers on PC were abundant they were never as bad or as rampant that people make it out to believe.

Since FAFF cheaters on PC are a rare thing for good. It's a fact R* got part of their sh*t together regarding this.

 

I don't spend hours in crowded lobbies but at least you can have some fun there between grindings now. Between March and June they were absolutely avoidable, not enjoyable at all. No more than 15 minutes until you were blown up, tied to a Christmas tree, beheaded by a windmill at the Eclipse garage door, and such. That crap is over by now.

Was on ps3 till it turned quickly into muppet soup. PS4 is gold.

 

Being able to chill in apt without gettings blown up is a relief.

 

On PC should be muppet free 100% R* dropped the ball. Its a shame.

There's only one trainer to my knowledge that can blow you up, crash you or grief you otherwise.

One is too many.

 

It might be better than it used to be, but consoles are the way to go to avoid cheaters. But you have trade offs of course.

 

Of course it is. But i'm sick of people being like "ohhh it's so easy to cheat on pc lololololol, this is your own fault for playing there xDDDD". The cheating situation has drastically increased on pc. I'm pretty sure it's worse on old gen than on pc.

I see time trial teleporters about 1-2 a day or so in not very much play time, but that's the major thing I am really aware of. I've heard a bit of lobby chat about people in god mode but haven't seen it myself (I do very little free roam PVP). The complaints about god mode have ticked up in the last week or so, possible that something is becoming more widely used that grants it.

Godmode is pretty easy to achieve i suppose. There are some free trainers with very basic stuff only, but godmode is one of those things..

Console isn't safe either. Now, I haven't run into "hackers" per say, but in the past week I've seen wall breachers, God mode glitches, floating head players, your usual level 666 with a 103838382929.0 K/D ratio, ect.

OP is your ammo still on zero 0 ? I cant believe that cheaters can now do that, usually all your weapons would reset back to normal after changing the session !

 

btw. havent met a cheater so far in freemode after bikers update, there is a lot less of them than before.

He made all my weapons disappear and all its ammo, using that new Personal Equipment on meu made the weapons reappear but not the ammo, it was all gone, changed session didnt work, even closing the game, when i came back had to buy all over.

 

There are way less hackers/modders since Ceo update i think, R* made a good job getting rid of that infestation that flooded most of sessions sometime ago, but still there are some, and even the "harmless modders" can f*ck your game, really sad.

The only hacker/glitcher(I don't know how it's done) that I've seen on PS4 since it's release is the chap who sits at the back of your garage and kills you as you enter.

 

I guess your only solution to hackers is to change platform.

havent seen any modders on PC since the CEO2 update. And i havent seen any video proof of a real modder since then...

I'm on PC since 1st day, playing more or less every second day in average and I've seen and survived a lot of modders. I think most here (the console players <-and that's no offence) are overreacting a bit.

 

Sure PC is the platform where those modmenu-maniacs are trolling arround and a very minor number are these idiots who like to grief, fraut, kill, stuck, .... others. But the majority (I've met) just used to have fun with the menu and the other players. Good times they spawned blimps for all, the big jet, Helis you can't fly or find, give everyone snowballs, fire-extinguisher, railguns. Teleporting all to Mount Chilad and spawning everyone a Dump for Harakiri-downhill - great times. I like to mention, I've never taken cash from them but couldn't care less if someone did.

 

Most of the time it was a matter of kindness - sure if some kiddies came up and texted: "Give money or I report you" - what do you expect? I always begged for a blimp and if it was a french modder someone else translated for me. Never - NEVER had that bad issues with modmenu-guys. If I was in a lobby with one of those unteachable ones - I simply changed the session. Problem solved.

 

TL;DR Most consoleplayers <-again no offence -> are overreacting IMHO based on a lack of real experience but based on posts, videos and some fairy tales about modmenu-users on PC - OR I was lucky for over 1.5 years of playing with hundrets of playing time on three accounts with five charackters.

 

Again, no offence - never used a menu my own and only took Blimps, Helis and weapons and loved the fun with the players in the whole lobby

The most common you'll find is godmode losers, and usually you'll be fine unless you're a player who pvps a lot as you'll run into them often when you're killing lots of people. The next would teleporters I guess, usually combined with godmode which makes me assume they only have cheat engine.

 

After that it's the losers who are so utterly desperate for a way to cheat that they will actually PAY REAL MONEY for a cheat menu like Force or Menyoo (LOL paying for cheats is seriously the most pathetic thing you can do in gaming) and those are the ones who have the ability to crash you and do other things. There's a vastly lower amount of these scrubs after every update and I'm glad, GTAO for PC is very worth it and for the most part right now you'll be fine from cheaters, 90% of them don't do anythig or say anything unless you attack them first and then call them out for cheating

 

And people please always vote to report and kick these losers in lobbies.

I have different opinions about paying for cheats. Force is only used by retards, those people literally take pride in griefing you, but menyoo (now authority) doesn't contain a single griefing option and never will. I'm not defending cheating in any way, but for people whose ifruit doesn't work at all, it's the only way to get custom plates.

 

once met a dude who changed his name, it was obvious that it wasn't his actual name. Checked social club profile, yup, different name. Votekicked and reported. Two mins later he asks who votekicked him and why, i've said because he's cheating. One minute later my game died. I fücking hate force retards.

Haha I once met two people who changed their names with a menu, I thought it was an insane coincidence that I would run into someone named fivefingersoffun on GTA, checked his SC profile and noticed the name was different and realized something fishy was going on, a few mins later a sixfingersoffun joined and at that point I knew for sure it was menu trickery

Is that so? What's your SC name maybe I'll remember meeting you. And thanks, my sniping isn't the best tho because I'm limited to controller due to my weird setup for gaming
