Turan
We're nearing 2017 and we are without a doubt in the busiest months of gaming with new hardware and games. Which games (or hardware) will you buy? I'm definitely buying Battlefield 1, this will probably be my go to shooter until next year at least. Reviews and impressions are insane. I'm thinking of Watch Dogs 2 because I liked the first one and I just can't pass up on open world GTA-like sandbox games. And lastly I'll be going for The Last Guardian, though I'm not completely sold yet. I'll wait for the reviews but the little I've seen looked absolutely epic. PB&Ritz
Rise of the Tomb Raider, (hopefully) Alien: Isolation, and Mafia 3 if it gets all of its free updates before the year ends.
Osho
None. I was interested in buying M III but after reading the reviews I don't want to hurry in buying it. Watch Dogs is the only game I'm interested in now. But again, I'm sceptical on how this would turn out.
RogerWho
I'm not buying any new games, but there are a few PS3 titles I might be adding to my collection. Tho I don't have anything specific on my mind at the moment. We'll see what comes up or if anything interesting goes on sale. I was interested in buying M III but after reading the reviews I don't want to hurry in buying it. Why, I thought Mafia 3 is going to be the new benchmark for open world games, what happened? j/k
Osho
Why, I thought Mafia 3 is going to be the new benchmark for open world games, what happened? j/k It has impressed me, no doubt. Story is simply superb, and I have already become a fan of Lincoln Clay. The problem is the current state of the game which requires further attention from the developers, which they are already working on and taking the feedback on the issues, plus they are also planning on releasing amazing DLCs to extend the experience further. So, its best to wait patiently for the game to get finished in all aspects, and by that time the mods will be ready as well. I have already gone through the story twice on youtube, and looking forward to watch it again!
Tycek
None very likely and definitely nothing from the recently released titles. I have couple of games on my to buy someday list (Watch_Dogs 2 and Battlefield 1 may be on it dependently on the quality), but I'll definitely wait for the initial reception and the lower price. Goldn-Bayse
Well for game releases this year, nothing really. I might wait and see what new games my friend's see where that goes. However, I would like to get a game or two for my GameCube, preferably Metroid Prime 2.
bigraj
Skyrim remaster The Last Guardian, if it doesn't get delayed again. Final Fantasy XV Uncharted 4 once I see it for $40 or less. Same with Mafia III, though it probably won't drop till next year. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Mister Pink

Algonquin Assassin
I'll most likely end up getting Watch Dogs 2. Nothing else interests me atm. Sunrise Driver

Richard Power Colt
At the very least, Dishonored 2 and The Last Guardian(unless they delay it again). Then whatever comes out on Humble Monthly and maybe something from a Steam sale.
Shaytan
I'll probably buy a single game or a DLC this year because I'm short on money (still dunno if this year I'll receive scholarship, if not it'll be harder to pay the books and college bills, and even if I receive there's some priorities already). I'm considering what's the best purchase and it'll depend on any sales on the local stores, but I'm considering either Forza Horizon 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, the new Hitman, the season pass of Fallout 4 or either City Living or Get Together DLCs for Sims 4. Smoov_Operator
I'd like to play battlefield 1 for the story. Just single player. But I have never played a battlefield before because I just was not into those kinds of games, especially modern war stuff. I just really enjoy world war II history and stories. I played Day of Defeat years ago and absolutely loved it. So maybe BF1... depends on if it comes out on torrents... cuz I'm a pirate.
Dosser
I'll be buying/receiving The Witcher 3 GOTY for my birthday in December and I might get a physical copy of Life is Strange. I have all episodes downloaded but I love the game to bits and would love to have the physical copy on display. Other than those two, probably nothing. I replay my games a lot so seldom feel the need to get new ones and I expect The Witcher 3 will soak up a lot of my free time. RogerWho
Mister Pink
If I'm around, I'll pick up Skyrim. Maybe Watch Dogs 2 as well. I was super excited for WD2 but then something clicked and I'm not that pushed any more. I think I need a new experience. A new IP. Oh and how can I forget Deus Ex. Seriously underrated series. It's unbelievable. Need to get the rest of Hitman too RUBBΣR░J♢HNNY (スオッ)

I honestly think Ubisoft learned their lesson (I hope). If they haven't, well... they're screwed. Mister Pink
Tchuck
Picked up Civilization VI already, and am planning on picking up Football Manager 2017 next month. That will keep me sorted for a long, long time.

Furry_Monkey
Watch Dogs 2 is a definite - I've got that week off work so I'm pre-ordering it and plan to play it solidly from the moment I get it. I'm also looking forward to Battlefield 1. Into next year I'm going to wait and see what the response is like for PSVR. I also want a price drop. I can afford it, but when you put the headset and the camera together it's a lot of money to pay for it, and I don't know if I can justify it. Hopefully the response will be overwhelming, but I won't hold my breath.
Candy_Licker
Probably Civ VI if it's really good. That could already be it, since South Park and Mount&Blade 2 won't come out this year anymore.

Ah yes, Stellaris. The next dlc arrives today (only around 99 left to go after that), a few nice additions, but it still needs way more meat to become a great game. I think they set the priorities wrong with this one. It looks like they tried to build the embellishment before the foundation. At the moment, it doesn't feel like they manage the balancing act between being a 4X and a GSG.
