Favourite and least favourite weapon/firearm on gta5 online.

Favorite is the heavy sniper. Love taking someones head off with is from a few clicks away.

 

Least favorite is the marksman pistol. That thing is retarded.

I quess we all have diffrent tastes,

I really like the marksman pistol...

 

My favorite weapon(s) would be both sweeeper guns or the mini-smg.

 

Least but also last favorite is the homolaunchchair, toooo OP for all aircraft exept jets, and, well, harmless to jets.

Special Carbine - I used to be against this gun because I just didn't like it but then I found out how f*cking OP it is and it's become my favourite assault rifle in both PvE and PvP.

 

Heavy Sniper - Barrett .50 is a beast IRL and was a beast in Online until recently but still prefer it.

 

Marksman Rifle - Literally takes no skill to use, just aim and spam.

Yes, the strafers. I despise that gun for that reason. And when using Heavy against them, I find it takes more skill to use cause you have to time your shot right to down them where MMR is just retarded.

Favorites:

 

Carbine Rifle- May not be the best carbine for PvP situations, but I just love the look and sound of it.

 

RPG- A timeless classic. Enough said.

 

Musket- Quite the unique weapon for GTA. I mostly use it to spice things up in missions/heists. On top of this, it is still quite amusing to get a kill on other players with it.

 

Least Favorites:

 

Noob (Homing) Launcher- Just about the WORST weapon addition to Online. Originally a supposed answer to the jet griefer epidemic, the HL turned out to fail in that aspect. Instead, it basically rendered helicopters and slow-moving planes as flying coffins in Public FR. Even worse since anybody (especially low-levels) can use one.

 

Marksman Rifle- For obvious reasons.

i think all army clothes, heist gear, vehicles and weapons should be rank locked. the low ranks who have this stuff would be locked to them until they get to a certain rank to unlock the item. homing launcher should not be able to lock on to anything except aircraft. its accuracy should be high against hydra and lazer but low against everything else. the marksman rifle should have less damage, perhaps pistol/smg damage, proximity's should not stick on to things like sticky bombs and sticky bombs should not instantly destroy vehicles with 100% armour installed.

 

sniper rifle should have faster firerate than heavy sniper and faster reloading, tear gas should do more damage and, last longer and have a bigger smoke radius. baseball bat, crowbar, molotov, stun gun and railgun should be in ammunation for purchase. railgun should do low damage to any vehicle with armour applied or armoured vehicle but it would be a jet sniper, it should have 5 rounds. stun gun should have 4 electric bursts, 4 sec reload, lower range and expensive ammo. do you guys think this would balance things out a bit on gta5?

they should add flashbangs, smoke screen (harmless), and all weapons from gta4/eflc aswell. maybe flamethrower, chainsaw, meat cleaver, pitchfork in this halloween dlc?

Fave: Assault shotty. Been my most-used weapon since waaaaaay back and will probably continue to be for a long time to come. Nothing beats spraying a dozen or so rounds through the windows of oncoming cop cars for enabling a quick getaway.

 

Honourable Mention: AP Pistol. Another old school classic, none of the post-release additions to the Can-Be-Fired-While-Driving subcategory have managed to dethrone it. High RoF, excellent accuracy, generous clip size... whats not to like?

 

Least favourite: Hard to say... I give every new weapon a fair try and if it doesn't give me any worthwhile new capabilities, I simply throw it away or stash it in my locker. I like my weapon wheel to contain only the essentials, so I suppose my least favourite guns are the ones NPCs commonly drop and I end up picking up against my will. Pistols, micro SMGs, SMGs, carbine rifles, pump shotguns, etc. Nothing worse than being in the thick of a gunfight, going for the gun you want and instead ending up holding something subpar that you inadvertently pulled from the cold dead hands of Mendoza #9526917...

Favorite: MG. Just something about the way it sounds makes it a favorite of mine

 

Least favorite: Marksman Rifle. Just makes the game frustrating as if anyone else is using it, you practically have to use it or put yourself at a massive disadvantage... and the gun just isn't very fun.

Hate this f*cking thing: Mini SMG - Hate this glorified BB gun. I also hate that every time I go for my "Hobo Cash" I pick up one of these pieces of crap.

least favorite weapon is that freaking micro SMG . I HATE IT ! 0 damage , and somehow it s the default weapon when i ride in any car ! worse, once i step out of the vehicle , it turns into the default MG in the weapon wheel again !!! ( BTW , how to change that ? PLZ help me, I hate that SMG !)

Eventually I would've..it is a nice looking gun though. The engraved tint with Platinum underneath makes it looks sexy af. I just hate how during some heists, it for some reason adds the silencer to it which is pretty f*cking annoying if you ask me. I like the sound of it without.

 

And another least favourite is the Micro SMG, which you stupidly can't hide in the weapon wheel. I always drop that damn thing.
