There is no point in FA heists for me solely because of cops. This system with immediate response and spawn out of nowhere was designed to be played in assisted aim. Sorry, but no casual player is that good.

Thats not true.

I've played through every single hiest with randoms in free aim. Even some of my friends who are complete newbies.

AA just makes it faster...because its doing all the aiming for you. But the reality is its all about keeping on the move and only killing NPCs that get in your way. Compared to AA where the mentality is.. spam LT and kill everything in your way.

Id say AA is perfect for people who want it easy.. because really thats what AA always does. Makes it easy.

I could only imagine single player with AA.. f*ck that would be a snore fest. 10 guys in a room.. WHOOP DEE DOO.. Thats what? 10 seconds to take them all down.. ?

I personally can't stand auto-aim, I hate how it chooses targets that I wouldn't ever prioritize, like cops. Free aim isn't just for try-hards or elite shooters, it actually makes surviving firefights much easier and for some players like me it just gives more control over their weapons.

OT: heists aren't any harder with free aim, the goal of the heists isn't to kill all cops and rarely requires us to stand our ground and fight (minus a couple setups) so there's no real need for uber-fast targeting. It might seem like the AI never misses but they do, plus, when getting shot taking cover should be part of the plan, in all the auto-aim heists I've played players rarely took cover since they assumed they could kill every enemy within seconds.

In the end the game was made with multiple aim types and perspectives because there is no right or wrong way to play. Look at jet pilots, they could use lock on missiles and thrird person but sometimes it's a benefit to fire the cannons manually and see from a first person perspective. I highly recommend playing in free aim just to actually play the game to the fullest, IMO it makes it harder to die not just harder to kill, so it can make the game easier in a sense and IMO it makes more sense to want to be further away from threats instead of getting close enough for the assist to kick in.

This.

Headshots for days just strafing side to side on cops. Stealth helps. Identifying who has SMG's and AR's and making their elimination priority. I used the Snapmatic app on a mission to do that. Helped tremendously in making the op go smoothly.

Snapmatic was disabled on missions last time I checked. Is it enabled now?

This is about Free-Aim Heists, not PvP.

In order to make Free-Aim Heists great again, we will need to build a WALL to keep all of those who don't have proof showing they completed Pac-Standard out of our heists. They just come in and leech us for time. Those people are VERY, VERY BAD at heists. We can't have those bad hombre's heisting with us because they will FAIL. We will also make the bad heisters PAY FOR IT (with $hark-card$).

We will have the greatest keyboard/mice program imaginable to aim. I like keyboards and mice. They are more efficient because they are greater than controller aiming.

We will label those female online character(s) that have tattoos everywhere, knee-high high-heels, denim "booty shorts," and poor taste in car designs be labeled as a "nasty woman."

No saving pictures, but yes. I use it as binoculars to not alert by targeting with a sniper. Edited by San_Sicario

Talks about realism in a game where you can breadance a car back onto it's wheels...

This entire thread is just another free aim/assist aim thread. Who cares what way you play.

Thanks for your opinion. What is breadance?

Obviously nobody cares 3 pages later, but some folk enjoy discourse.
