Jesus there's a lot of misplaced hate. I could give 2 f***s about PvP. THIS IS ABOUT HEISTS AND MAKING IT DIFFERENT.

 

I didn't say nothing about pvp i said in general.If you want free aim heist you go to singleplayer change to free aim start your own heist and people who are invited are forced to change their aim to free aim.You also can change how you want game first person or third person as well(if you try to do this with randoms you gonna fail most likely).Most ppl don't play heist for "Action" or fun in that mater(For fun some people play but with friends)everyone plays heist for money.If you want action freeroam in full loby or do something else race/deathmatch/lts etc list goes on.Or just find people and roleplay make it a action.A lot of people who bought gta got bored of it i got 3 friends irl who bought game played about 10-15 hours and quit they said it's to dull and boring,for real nigga it's dull and boring?Na mf there is so much random sh*t you can do in gta but you just either to lazy or uninterested to try something alse out.Also i just notice this is more bitch and moan thread if anything alse.

With great FA cash/rp bonus, most of the players would probably do heists and missions in FA. Most of the other games use free-aim anyway so it's not something that is impossible to get good at. But thank god there's AA, otherwise doing heists with randoms would be impossible.

 

None of you don't seem to do heists with randoms, but aren't you OP afraid that if we encourage more FA noobs into heists they would just ruin everything? I don't trust my own FA skills so much, that I would join random set-ups or at least finals, because I am not going to be that guy who dies.

 

Most of the time I play AA, but especially when I'm gonna do lot of solo work, I go FA. (It definitely is more rewarding as you said)

But FA deathmatches for F sake! I was in forced pistol match and players would just come at you rolling & maneuvering and whacking you out. And If there's one with owned weapons, it's just huge RPG fest :v: . Freemode is more peaceful tho :^:

And the f*ck? Police training, lol. Good luck with your police training and the 10000 jets you'll encounter.

Edit: Never had a BF and Call of Duty background. If it's that important, I came from Gran Turismo, GTA and WipEout.

I'm all for free-aim but I won't go to free-aim (despite being quite good at it from my RDR days) until those cops also have free-aim. I want them to miss their shots. I want some of them to be better than others at shooting. I want cops to take some time to arrive at your location and not f*cking spawn in your own car like they got a portal seat gun or something. If we're doing heists on FA I want the cops to act like cops, not robots. I doubt they'll run straight at me with no cover in sight. No cop in the world is paid that much.

 

 

 

Well the AI don't use auto aim.. In pretty much every game ever made, the AI just uses a chance to hit based on line of sight.

 

The problem is R* puts their accuracy up to very high. Sort of like how when you make a capture job with AI's in it.. You can choose their accuracy. From very low to very high.

 

R* could how ever tone down the accuracy and thier spawns. They just choose not too.

 

 

Still, cops can't kill what they can't see or catch.

Drop the difficulty settings and the aim accuracy or firing rate drops, too. No?

then how on earth a piloted helicopter firing at impossible angle ( like their helicopter titled slightly downward yet they still can fire to someone who was flying bit higher ).....OR OR....OR.......Fort Zancudo jets that can fire from any direction ( regardless if you're flying behind them or not )

 

and lets not forget savage helis from convoy setup that can mimic ability to pivot the cannon

R* programmed the AI in this game to behave as such.

 

 

 

I can make a capture with 20 AI snipers with their accuracy at low.. And i can run across a field and surivive.

Compared to setting the AI accuracy on very high. They will kill me in seconds.

Their chance to hit and damage out put goes down. Firing rate is stil the same.

 

 

Its basically what i use for R* editor films.

 

 

I make the AI use very low accuracy. But..they still shoot like crazy. And even if the land a few hits their damage is low.

They are , after that cop memes from IV ( which making fun of their incompetences ) , they're outright inhuman in V & online

 

back in old days , coveted , most goons there armed with SMGs while me just a sniper while perched on mountain . even if i parrot their weapon , i still can't hit them from mountains and they can land few hits on me

 

Guess what ? their interceptors possess ability to catch up even if your vehicle was fully customized adder . even if your vehicle a big SUV , they can easily stop it

AI spawn is based off the players spawn bubble. Just like traffic. R* says your bubble has cops.. so it spawns cops.. and traffic.. and npcs. Their accuracy is about HIGH. Which means based on line of sight they have a good chance to hit and a good chance to do medium to high damage.

 

But it still not auto aim. If it was auto aim, hiding in a bush would not be so effective against cops. Because the game considers that a line breaker.

when got wanted level and out of sight from cops , according to minimap , they act as if knowing where i am even though i was outside of their view ( giving impression of Pac-man on minimap ) , though they do move away sometimes

 

Kill someone in middle of desert with silenced pistol , no withness and definitely , not even the victim knows where the hit came from . still get a wanted level

 

in V , killing driver instantly makes the passenger pushes the driver out of the car and took his position as driver , with no regard of his buddy's corpse ( especially if the corpse got ran over ) . even having their tires popped out doesn't hinder them completely

bonus point performing kamikaze on tank by ramming on the front/back , crushing their car and blowing them in process

 

steals a wanted car for simeon at parking lot with no withnesses there , instant 2 star

 

whetever someone complains about accuracy , any NPCs in vehicle take their accuracy to whole new level

This feels a little muddled to me (no offense). Is this just about doing heists in free aim? Seems like kind of an abstract thing to make a thread about.

 

I don't actually play in free aim anyway. All the NPCs have lightning fast auto aim, so you'll need it too to have a somewhat fair chance. I can imagine why you might have it for PvP, but not everyone's into that, and even then, the aiming's a little clunky in this game (in my opinion).

 

I agree with buffing the Savage I guess?

I for one do enjoy an actual good challenge here and there, but dealing with the artificial difficulty in this game can be irritating as f*ck to the point that I just switch to auto aim.

 

Plus most ppl these days only do heists for the money anyway. Criminal Mastermind is there for the challenge

The pivoting cannons have been a complaint since day one. Why can their Buzzards aim the cannons downwards and we can't? Because R* can be a d**k. Haven't experienced that with the Lazer pilots, however. I'd love to see what accuracy percentage and damage multiplier they've instilled in Hard difficulty. Because we still get shot consistently in AA. I'm curious if it's possible to contest them in FA w/o board and mouse. I usually se my sensitivity quite high. Edited by San_Sicario

The game wasn't really built for free aim at any point. The design of things like NPCs to the mechanics of movement and aiming just don't give an experience worth writing about... so I'll just stop talking instead of beating yet another dead horse.

I play both lobbies, no lie, most if not all my main friends are in AA I started playing FA to do CEO/VIP (because the lobbies were more empty) even more so for the biker update (since you can't be locked onto on a bike)

 

I must say that you guys exaggerate the difficulty of enemies in FA, seriously, way over exaggerate...

 

 

 

 

from playing all styles, the MOST realistic is FA-assist, think about why and you should/mite agree

when it comes to mission/heist difficulty ?

regardless of how easy and hard it is . the difficulty only affects team's lives and payout ( plus hard is required part for CMM challenge )

 

so if you think easy IS easy , you're " bit wrong "

say you hosted a heist setup and play with bunch of idiots while in easy mode . did they still can handle it ? well if only they didn't charge in without a cover ( or a competitive who abhors using cover ) would done a great job & wasting life reserves quicker . so even if the enemies using pistol , they're still deadly as swarm of killer bees ( tested on Ballas territory on Cul-De-Sac )

 

but if you're playing on a mission that is vital at least 1 member survive ( and safety of targeted object ) , well you could care less about their lives
