Vehicle LOD in Vice City?

Is it possible to tweak the Level of Detail as it applies to Cars and their Wheels in Vice City?

 

I found a mod that increases it for buildings. However I was mostly fine with their appearance in the first place, and I struggle to tell a difference. The mod does get rid of a Zed-fighting on one building seen while driving over the golf courses bridge. The mod did nothing at all to cars.

 

While I was collecting cars for Sunshine Autos I was irritated that sometimes a car is unrecognizable from a distance until it suddenly pops up in full detail. Car wheels turn flat at a very short distance quite obviously.
