Sadyt_Green
What could go wrong at this time of year? If Rockstar had the opportunity to fill in the time gap between LCS and Advance, what would happen? Set between LCS and Advance in 1999, "Thanksgiving in Liberty City" comes to fill a small time gap in the 3D universe - in this case, the concept fills in on an actual holiday. This concept may possibly surface as a Vice City or San Andreas mod, if it gets the chance. The Story It is the beginning of Thanksgiving week, in November of 1999. Liberty City is about to fall on hard times thanks to being driven near economical devastation by paying $1,250,000,000 of its debt to Japan due to borrowing many materials from its major production centers. Portland is beginning to experience neglect for the second time since the summer of 1978, nearly half of Staunton Island's residents have become jobless to the point where they have to hire citizens below the age of 18, and gang activity is increasing in Shoreside Vale. One man, Vasily Revschenko, is about to drag himself into his own mayhem-filled adventure of eliminating gangsters, working deals with mob bosses, the police, and businessmen driven into poverty, and making a large fortune in the most shocking way possible. All of this would indirectly reignite the activity that the city was just filled to the brim with a week ago. The Characters Vasily Revschenko: An East German factory worker of Russian descent who had just moved north to Liberty City after failing to cope with the crime down south for 7 years. Arriving in the midst of an event that nearly puts the city through economical collapse, he drags himself into his own criminal adventure that inadvertently fires the city back up, with the city itself resuming normal activities. More is yet to come. You can suggest below. What does LC have to offer? Liberty City has remained the same, but many experimental cars, trucks, bikes and helicopters have been put to the test in the metropolis by many companies worldwide in order to help the city get back on its feet economically through vehicle sales. Examples of these new vehicles are the Endeavor, a two-door variant of the Landstalker; the Horizon, the successor to the Elegy; and the Leopard, a modern revival of the Sabre. You can perform jobs to help boost your own money, little by little. This also makes extra money for Liberty City. Money for you and money for them, it's a win-win. Liberty City now offers radio stations that are completely new. Vasily gets used to either of these stations as the small story goes. BPR: A pirate radio station occasionally playing 90s punk rock and some techno. Hosted by the grungy Pearl Hawkes. The Hornet 93.3: A pop music station, doing what all radio stations do best: play music that has garnered extreme popularity. Hosted by the dangerously trendy Roman Conner. Unity Radio: A reggae station that melds together songs using the same riddim. Hosted by Haze, a reggae DJ from London. Dusha Vostoka: Transliterated to "Soul of the East". Plays music that was popular in the Eastern Bloc during its heyday. Hosted by Dekter Smolnik, a host from Serbia. N.W.O. FM: Standing for "No Way Out", N.W.O. is a hip hop station that fills in for the Liberty Jam at this time. The station is mentioned to be partially prepared for Christmas, even playing a Christmas-centered rap song at one point. Hosted by DJ Parabellum. WXMS 106: A music station that gets in tune every Christmas. This station solely exists as dead air until after Halloween, when it begins playing Christmas music. The moments before the station finally goes on air is given much hype by radio enthusiasts. Hosted by Rudolph Rutherford. LCCR: An international oldies radio station that plays hits from the 1930s to the 1970s. Hosted by Fats Moreno. Word of Mouth: A talk radio station where two middle school friends talk about what's on their minds. At one point, they roast as many people as they can think of, even each other. Hosted by Jack Reder and Matthias Jorgenberg. Ultrasonic FM: A drum and bass station primarily playing content from labels like Moving Shadow and Foul Play Productions. A young student known as Swish Alloy manages the entire station, filling in for Head Radio's signal. That's all I got for now, but just a heads-up: you are always free to make suggestions! -S.G.
