Distance Traveled On Motorcycles Not Increasing

Pretty insignificant issue, which is what worries me. It's happening to at least one crew member of mine as well. I'm getting what seems to be roughly .01 miles to every 5-ish miles I travel on a motorcycle. The only reason this is an issue is that my crew has an internal patch system, some of them being related to bike miles. It only seems to have started a week or so ago, when I was at 10,584.18 miles traveled on motorcycles. With all of my supply running, rides, and testing to see if any bike I rode would track properly, I'm only at 10592.04.

Has anyone else that pays attention to this stat had the same issue, and if so, any idea what has caused it?

on PC I have seen several stats not update at all. It started happening back when the Cunning Stunts DLC was released. Especially times. I got the world record on 2 races and yet it never did show it. I got a t-shirt or tattoo or something but when I do those races that time I a took a screenshot of beating everyone else, never appears. It's still a better than anytime but the cheater with 14 seconds has.

Hey, OP. This type of stat update issue has been going on for years. I first noticed it with the 'miles travelled without crashing' stat, which hasn't moved on for over two years, and then the '5-star wanted' award which I couldn't achieve for ages... so it's nothing new.

Think about it this way: stats are being generated in-game correctly, but NOT being written to the database where your personal stats are stored. You'll have to ask someone who's a professional in very large databases about this, but when a lot of data is being written at the same time - possibly millions of queries at the same time - some of that data just gets lost or discarded, and never writes to the database.

And you may have noticed that no new stats have been added to the Rockstar Social club for a good year now... there's a general problem in receiving and storing so much data.

I haven't been keeping a close eye on my motorbike distance, but I did notice it was almost exactly 35,000 km last night. This should make it easy to keep track of.

It's confirmed. I rode 2 km on a motorbike and the distance counter increased by only 0.01 km.
