It'll come when it's ready. These things take time and I'm fine with that as long as it delivers. We have a date, so hopefully we're done with the long droughts.

A couple of screens even seem to showcase destructible environments!

Almost a picture perfect copy of GTA V's release schedule. It's almost like delaying games is part of their marketing strategy. Shame, was looking forward to playing this in the summer holidays.

 

At least the screens look amazing and we have a real date, so that's something.

I will not talk about delay beacause many of us were already prepared, BUT this game look so damn good and some people need to shut up about ground texture, what are you expecting ? Horizon is one of best looking game and has it too, AC origins looks good too and there´s so bad ground textures and nobody complaing abou that, uncharted 4 which is best looking third person sh*t has it too and that game isn´t even open world. Cmon guys, when you first played any game from rockstar, had you ever feeling it isn´t look amazing ?

Yes it's brilliant marketing, just because it doesn't necessarily appeal to you don't mean sh*t. They announce a delay 1 f*ckin time near a conference call now every call people expect a delay or announcement? lol..This sh*t is too funny. Like i said, we shall see. Someone is going to have to talk you pessimistic bastards off the ledge. How some of you are expecting a delay, if it doesn't get delayed you dudes will be upset about that too.

The likelihood of an on-time release is still possible regardless of how slim some think. Until then, keep the delay chatter in the delay thread

 

Edit: I feel like the delay talk comes from people being hurt by R* with the first one. It's easier to expect the worst than have hope the next RDR2 announcement from R* is that everything is on schedule

Ground textures here suck for a near-2019 game, even the 2nd trailer where Arthur talks to the dude with the soup, the ground textures look like sh*t.

Other than that most of the game looks so beautiful.

I mean, I was kind of expecting this to happen so I'm not THAT disappointed with it. It still sucks though. The best part about this is we at least got a concrete release date now.

Only thing which was wrong is that they delayed it even more than I thought

 

Nevertheless lets see if they have a suprise during super bowl also it got more unlikely because they already announced the delay.

 

BUT now it is fixed and the release right before christmas is excellent ! Everybody will have RDR2 under the tree @Christmas 2018

Christmas is end of December, RDR2 is end of October though
