I hope you realise they're likely also looking at this thread and people thinking it's an official website, and reacting accordingly. :p It's a fan site, the Twitter account is known for giving R* news.

It just has so much potential to be f*ckin awesome. I would have never thought GTAO would be what it is today back in 2013. The story will probably be ok, but for me online is probably where I will have most of my fun. If Red Dead Online is service based of course, I'm excited to hear what they finally have to say about it.

Screw online, it is all about the single player and the story.

It may be hard for alot to believe. But, I purely played GTA V and Red Dead Redemption for its single player campaign and the campaign alone. Never even touched the multiplayer side and to be honest with you guys, I didn't miss a damn thing!

Me too. Exactly the same thing.

Nah i gotta keep it real, with RDR i played that purely for the story but when i heard GTAV would have online it was a selling point for me. People can hate online all you want, but the fact is GTAO is dope to many people. Why u think they made sure to speak of Online from the start. The story will be cool and all, but just the thought of making my own western character, riding with friends and sh*t. That alone is enough for me.

I'm equally excited about both. I'm the type who'll usually play through the story then just free roam and grind through some of those side objectives for quite awhile before I get bored and go through the story again.

With the current model of online though I pretty much just treat it like an extension of the "post-story wandering". The only real difference is that now there's a reason to keep grinding after the story, there's actually things to unlock.

I just hope Red Dead Online doesn't lock the fun stuff up in Public Only Sessions like GTAO does. Or at the very least they have similar glitches to get yourself into a public solo session.

Feel kinda lucky for this page. Can feel some news around the corner....I know i can feel it. It's gonna be this page. This is the one....

Plz R*, na more sufferieng. Na more plz...:dontgetit::panic::facedesk::sui:

Between this page (900) and 1000 I think we will have some good news.

I think so too :^: It would be pile of horse sh*t if we got to 1000 pages and R* still has done nothing with Red Dead. Mark our comments dude. Ima quote this post once we hit 1000 pages of despair :dontgetit:

That's if R* doesn't add anything between pages 900 through 1000. Fingers crossed people :whuh:

Yeah, bc they tell always the truth: GTAV Story Mode Updates. For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor's action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas.

At least with GOW getting a release date only 3 months out, we can feel a little more comfortable waiting for official news from R* that RDR2 could indeed come May and give them a solid 3.5-4 months of marketing

I agree with you. Many people enjoy GTA online and there is nothing wrong with it. But, Can you guarantee people will remember that more than John Marston and his epic journey through the west?

Screw Agent. It'd be too similar to GTA V, especially now that GTA Online has jetpacks and high tech cars. I really want to see Bully II see the light of day.

Right? I wonder if there's an alternate universe where it did come out on time and in that universe's GTAForums instead of complaining about the lack of news about the game on a loop everyone is complaining about the lack of information about the next Red Dead Online update on a loop. But also complaining about Microtransactions and how much of a grind it is to get stuff on a loop.

Rewatching the trailer, trying to identify some of the guns and nothing really sticking out to me except for the fact that you can totally see a guy with a one handed sawed off shotgun in the woods about to attack the train. He's standing next to Bill, who is holding the bolt action rifle from the first game. Obviously, the double-action, schofield, and cattleman revolver are returning as well. As we can see in the screenshot of Arthur with 2 guns standing in the smoke, you can have 2 different kinds of guns in either hand. I think it would be very exciting to have a shotgun in one hand and a pistol in the other, or indeed two shotguns. One of those things you can only do in games i guess

That dude is the native. You can see his ponytail at the end of the first trailer...

Idk I'm speaking for me personally. For me John marston wasn't the highlight of the game for me it was the gameplay that I gravitated to. The Activities/games, the gunplay, the missions, the mechanics and the environment is what made RDR a great game to me. Idk what online will include, but the just thought of possibly being able to explore a western open world as a character i created trumps anything for me. With Arthur seemingly being a anti hero, i may gravitate to his character more alot more than John.

I'm just looking forward to the Schofield revolver. Just because i love the design of this gun. It's a beauty to me. Nickel(/silver) plated Schofield, maybe with pearl grips. No gravings. That's all i need. All that plus first person.

There is a wide variety of gunsmiths out there. I would love to see R* explore different gun manufacturers/Gunsmiths from around the world. There really is a lot R* Could do in terms of weaponry, im excited to see what they do.
