How would that be strange? they aren't obligated to release something before T2 conferences. It would be good for investors to hear how the game is coming along but its not a mandated thing. You think T2 aren't speaking to R*? if the game is set for spring and come feb they are still saying that. i fell good that the game is coming in spring. What you think R* are going to wait until spring to be like "Ah almost forgot guys, RDR2 is delayed until october" how unprofessional is that.

It's just strange to me that they would announce a release date after this upcoming call. Especially since the next call is in May I believe. If there's a time for a release date announcement then I think it's next week, but we'll see. I just don't see us not getting a release date in the next couple of days.

 

I understand what your saying bro, but its not like R* cant announce it afterwards either. We could get anything within the next few weeks. Could be a slew of screenshots, trailer, Gameinformer or just details who knows..Us as fans just want a release date lol. God of war has all of that and still no release date and corey was playing it today. We are in different times people. We can only hope for some kind of information on RDR2 shortly and whatever it is im grateful, it only means a release date isn't far off if not announced. So if we get screens, another treasure hunt or some sh*t it only would mean to me that everything is going as planned and its just a waiting game at this point.

I look at it this way, if the t2 conference comes and goes and they say they are still on track for spring? with no release date? im ok with that. We would have been gotten a delay announcement, these people are not going to wait until the very last minute to announce something like that. We got a delay announcement in may when it was set for fall release.

We also got the delay announcement to coincide with a investors call, the same thing could happen again which I think is what people here are getting at. The 2 major news events for RDR2 with the game announcement and delay all occurred around T2 investors call so it stands to reason that if we're getting a delay or release date announcement it's going to be within the next 2 weeks.

 

It seems highly doubtful they would go into February's call with a "Yeah everything is on track for Spring, we don't have a date and our future line up is weak as we having nothing new in the next 6 months", especially when the next call won't be until May.

 

i understand the investor call sh*t but the delay announcement was in may when it was set for fall. we are on the cusp of spring, as a company that would be highly unprofessional to announce a delay only because a T2 call is approaching when you probably knew the game needs a delay way before that when spring is right around the corner. Can you imagine Sony investors calls? how long you think they have been saying " We are still on track for 2018 somewhere" lol.

Okay, so if the original delay came in May, that was 4 months ahead of Fall that big window shows they were behind target. Beginning of Feb will be just short of 2 months before spring. Cutting it awfully close to call a delay now. R* could be gritting their teeth to make the new deadline and may have everything lined up marketing wise but dont want to pull the trigger until theyre 100% sure they can hit the mark and deliver the game on time

LOL true but GTAV was originally set for spring off the rip, then got delayed until fall in January. RDR2 was set for fall of 2017, delayed until spring 2018 in may of 2017. Look at every delay, its months before. It would be unprofessional asf to wait this long to announce a delay at least imho.

can you guys imagine what we will be able to do with horses? just the thought of it excites me. I can see us dropping down to the side of horses during shootouts and all kinds of neat tricks. if you actually watch the first seconds of trailer 2, arthur's horse seems to mimicking his movements as he attempts to put out a camp fire.

In the southern region of South America, more precisely in an area that encompasses Argentina, Uruguay and southern Brazil, there is the gaúcho culture. A gaúcho is a skilled horseman, reputed to be brave and unruly. Gaúchos became greatly admired and renowned in legends, folklore and literature and became an important part of our regional cultural tradition.
