Re-watching the trailer I noticed that when Arthur is threatening the teenager there's some luggage on a small wagon beside the teen. Did Arthur and the gang kill the Father to run the family out because they wanted the property for some reason? Looks like they're going to move.

I doubt it, because the man was already buried and had a tombstone when they arrived. But who really knows.

How do we know that's their first visit there? Could've given them a week to bury the father and get out of dodge. Then Arthur comes back to make sure they're leaving and threatens the kid to make sure he doesn't get any ideas about avenging his father.

If there's nothing by the 7th then it's delayed for sure. However, I'm 110% sure they're going to give us some sort of update soon. They're not going to keep us in the dark when we're supposedly four months away from release.

You think so? I know T2's conference call is coming up but they might just mention it again saying it's on track for spring or whatever and leave it at that. Who know's with R* and what they have planned. I really do hope we get something next week.

 

There's no way they're just going to say it's on track for Spring. There'll be a release date, and they'll address the delay if there is one.

Now i really want this game to come out this may, or earlier which is not possible but we can all make a wish.

Even a teaser for something is good enough for me.

We would have been gotten a delay announcement, these people are not going to wait until the very last minute to announce something like that. We got a delay announcement in may when it was set for fall release.

Look, Rockstar obviously knows they have to do something at this point, we're four months further without any info and the fan base is getting more impatient with the day.

 

They more than likely have a specific date set for an announcement before the start of February.

 

Do you really think Take Two and Rockstar would do this whole investor call thingy without adressing the obvious elephant in the room first?

 

Next week is the perfect moment for Rockstar to start giving us tiny fragments of information leading up to big reveals. If a delay would be the case, i think we would've known by now.

Highly agree with your comment ^ then any naysayers will try to say oh but gta v was delayed january 31st. So? What people need to realize is that they do these things we wont understand, for their own reasoning. My question is from all january announcements did take two have investor meetings everytime the month after or close to it? But my MAIN point here i wanna get across to everyone is thats not a relevant comparison because gta 5 was never announced as a fall title. It was a spring one. Then was delayed to fall. Red dead WAS announced as a fall title, now coming out in spring. GTA 5 got one delay, keep that in mind. The patterns are similar but the first season rockstar says usually has been the opposite. Plus to quote R* here "Red Dead Redemption II is now set to launch in Spring 2018." Plus that guy we found the other day finished programmetry likely in 2016 when he left, they were likely done with that part of development. I think RDR2 is ready and im gonna sound like a broken record but everyone they have been lookin for lately is game testers, people to assist their marketing team, and people to make quality builds. (These are all things before a game goes gold) theres evidence its on track for spring 2018

It's just strange to me that they would announce a release date after this upcoming call. Especially since the next call is in May I believe. If there's a time for a release date announcement then I think it's next week, but we'll see. I just don't see us not getting a release date in the next couple of days.

I still cant post photo as theres no link to proof here but fyi another thing thats lining up exactly, the last time we got red dead news rockstar finished their snapmatic contest and then started the editor contest, stretching a couple weeks. What just happened? Snapmatic winners and another editor contest. Next week is seriously the highest of chances ever so far. Given their way of posting things the same time different months (all apart of the schedule) their release date announcements of many years, take two conference, findings of artists and tech news, rockstar job listings etc.. cant wait to be proven right for once they also posted fan art as their usual subtle hints (they just retweeted the double action revolver recently too, and the post was from december..) would be weird but they did that on purpose. The stars all align my friends

We also got the delay announcement to coincide with a investors call, the same thing could happen again which I think is what people here are getting at. The 2 major news events for RDR2 with the game announcement and delay all occurred around T2 investors call so it stands to reason that if we're getting a delay or release date announcement it's going to be within the next 2 weeks.

 

It seems highly doubtful they would go into February's call with a "Yeah everything is on track for Spring, we don't have a date and our future line up is weak as we having nothing new in the next 6 months", especially when the next call won't be until May.
