Red Dead Redemption 2: Discussion & Speculation (Part 1)

I agree, but it could also be that the fancy dressed person is a kidnapped dude and that Bill and the other dude are keeping an eye on him, because tbh he stands out a bit between a camp full of survival oriented clothed outlaws.

 

Also in regards to the camp theory. You hear the native guy say "We're gonna need an extra gun" Which could indicate they set their camp up in proximity of their next target and organize their criminal activities trom there ( hit squads, robbing parties, smuggling, kidnapping, ...).

I hope when you're not with your posse/ associates you see them around the world in real time.

 

Robbing stores, starting fights, just having a beer at the saloon, hunting, catching their own bounties.

 

I cant wait to see what they rock star have done in terms of that stuff.

Just because john was once apart of Dutch gang doesn't mean that that he will be apart of RDR2. The Van der linde gang was active after they left john for dead too. Seeing zachsterosu's screenshot of the camp... I'm really interested in who this man is. In this scene it looks like he's looking suspiciously after Arthur and the black / native dude, at least that's how it "feels" to me ... And he seems to have a closer connection to Bill Williamson (in this scene they're standing together, in the burning mansion scene they're together).

 

I'm glad you post this I was checking this screnshot the other day, looks like they send Morgan to recruit that native or something.

Hey everyone! First post! I'm a huge fan of Rockstar games, especially when it comes to Red Dead Redemption! I've spent a huge portion of the last few days reading this forum hoping in vain that you all knew something I didn't already! This whole news drought is driving me as insane as everyone else... so I made a little trailer edit. Since you guys pretty much inspired it, I thought I'd share it here! Enjoy!

John wore what seems to be a gamblers style hat simular to the REVENGER 4X HAT.

And the guy in the trailer is wearing some kind of pinched front hat.

But I'm still having an issue figuring out what kind of hat Arthur has.

Seeing as Rockstar's games at the time of RDR1 were limited in clothing

 

(GTA IV had limited clothes, L.A Noire only had outfits)

 

It's most likely that we'll get more indepth clothing customization.

It would also be realistic if we lost our hat in some situations ... maybe our enemies could shoot them down or we would lose them on a bucking bronco.

Another thing is Bill mentioned that they (Dutch's gang) thought of John as an arrogant son of a bitch and how none of them really liked John. It's going to be really interesting to see how this bond and so-called loyalty is in Red Dead Redemption II. When John isn't around maybe they'll talk behind his back and stuff? I've said this before but I can't wait to see how these fellas worked on the same page with one another and how they didn't work. Maybe one had differences when getting a job done? Bill is probably going to be the wild one of the bunch. Can't wait!
