So, February ?

For a Spring release date?

Unless they give us something next week. I'm not saying delay yet, but I'm getting a little nervous.

It's time to quote myself from 4 weeks ago.

Troll posts made to destabilise the thread with fake delays and other kind of stuff will receive a verbal warning, keep it up and it'll be a temp. Throw a slur at someone and it's gonna be an instant temp, keep it up afterwards and you're gone. You've all been warned. Thread cleaned.

Ain't no f*ckin delay coming. We would have been gotten a announcement already. This company isn't out to troll fans by deliberately waiting until the last second to delay the game twice. Stay woke people .

Another day on the prairie without an annoucement. Feel the cold wind and see the tumbleweeds rolling.

Just look at the comments section, it's bigger than us. We aren't the only muhf*ckas wanting news. It's just a waiting game, i believe we are in good hands. But R* if you let me down I'm only a train ride away from your fancy little HQ. Don't make me pull up wearing a Red Dead T-shirt and camp outside protesting until I get some information.

Next week should be a suitable time to unleash some info upon us.

Excuse me if I'm moaning about something that's already been moaned, about but I have the strangest feeling that this gets posted every week :breadfish:

I kinda secretly love how this is our forum and Rockstars twitter fans right now:

Because that just means we're closer than ever to info gentlemen! Remember that.

Seriously though some of y'all really need to look on the bright side more often...sure it sucks we haven't had any info but hell imho it's better than them showing off the game too much. And before you know it we'll have all the information you could possibly want.

Delay or no delay we are in the home-stretch now. For sure.

Rockstar artist has updated his resume regarding FACS Scanning in RDR2, technology used in the expressions of LA Noire.
These technologies will likely cause the gross cost of production of RDR2 to be larger than that of GTA V, but it should not have the same final value, which was $ 265 million, since much of GTA's investment came from marketing, something which RDR2 obviously does not have.
They are even raising the hypothesis of the lack of marketing of RDR2 to be exactly why, spending on the game has already extrapolated all budgets.

When the Beatles made the cover of the album Abbey Road without putting the name of the album or the band on the cover, someone asked if it would not hurt the sales, so probably John answered something like "f*ck it we are the Beatles, the whole world knows us. " It's more or less the same thing there, this game does not even need marketing, it's RDR, it's Rockstar, it's going to sell like water automatically, even the absence of news can be a kind of marketing because fans are thirsty for any information.

So Chill out

He already had it there, just missed I think. Noticed that last night. It's the same tech used in LA Noire and in some other recent games.

Well, the facial animations we saw in the second trailer were a noticeable jump from R*'s previous works. I'm excited to read interviews about the tech powering Redemption II! I think when the animations start to fully match L.A.Noire's tech, and become faster to produce in a combined mocap set, then we might see this used to create a gameplay mechanic based on reading faces. A spiritual successor to L.A.Noire wouldn't be out of the question, too.

It was a bit disappointing not seeing them using the L.A. Noire facial technology for GTA V, it kinda felt like a step back.

At this point, we're just gamifying the lack of info, as a creative activity in itself. What the hell else we gonna do? "On the Internet, there ain't no such thing as a bright side."

Just the sad fact that we have to keep recycling the same 7 or 8 sound bytes from the teasers shows how far we are beyond simple desperation. We're deep into clinical despair.

I'm using this opportunity to polish up my hate and derision skillz, directed toward Rockstar marketing. These skillz come in handy for Twitter, as well. :p

A spritual sucessor for LA Noire was in the works, but cancelled. There even is some footage of it. Search "whore of the orient". It was set in 1930's China.
